Each week throughout the season, these values will be altered to reflect the player’s value for the rest of the season. Changes made to player’s value will be based on FantasyPros Rest of Season ECR, results from the season thus far, and The Wolf’s Rest of Season Rankings. But for the most part, the below values should generally reflect consensus rankings. The values provided also allow for comparing player values across positions, not just within one positional group.

Be sure to tune back each week throughout the season. We’ll be adjusting the chart, discussing risers & fallers, and pinpointing trade targets.

Fantasy Football Week 13 Trade Value Chart: Quarterbacks
Quarterback Riser
Heading into the season, the fantasy community was convinced that Jim Harbaugh would have Justin Herbert attempting 12 passes per game and he would be throwing the ball to complete scrubs. The latter may be true (we’re looking at you, Quentin Johnston), but Harbaugh’s offensive approach has paid dividends for Herbert.
Herbert isn’t going to be the 5,000-yard passer we saw in 2021, but he’s well on his way to having the most efficient season of his career. He’s pacing to set career highs in adjusted yards per attempt and overall yards per attempt.
Given the lack of depth at quarterback, Herbert is well within QB1 range. In the last five weeks, Herbert has averaged 21.1 points per game and has been the per-game QB8 during this stretch. With the Falcons and Buccaneers on the schedule in the coming weeks, expect to see more strong production from Herbert.
Quarterback Faller
It’s someone shocking to see that fantasy managers have not completely soured on Jordan Love just yet. Perhaps they have, but nobody has been especially vocal about their displeasure.
Coming into the year, there was plenty of optimism surrounding Love. He was coming off an impressive “rookie” season in which the Packers went on an absolute tear down the stretch. This season, Love’s production has been rather inconsistent. Love does not have a top-10 finish in over a month and has three finishes outside the top-15 quarterbacks in this time frame. A lot of this has been driven by low pass volume, but the Packers seem perfectly content riding Josh Jacobs in most matchups.
Now this isn’t to say Love has been a failure in fantasy football, but he’s not exactly breaking into the secondary tier of quarterbacks as many had hoped. Love is in the category of quarterback who you’d consider benching in a tough matchup.
Quarterback Trade Target
We highlighted Bo Nix as our trade target last week and we’re going right back to him this week. For teams that have already locked themselves into a playoff spot, Nix should be a target on the trading block thanks to his juicy playoff schedule.
Over the course of the playoffs, Nix will be in three consecutive spots where he can succeed. The Broncos take on the Colts, Chargers, and Bengals from Weeks 15-17. Cincinnati is a premium matchup for quarterbacks, allowing the third most points per game to the position. Indianapolis and Los Angeles aren’t quite as favorable, but they’ve both offered above-average matchups this season.
Nix has shown throughout the year that he’s capable of delivering 6-8 points on the ground in any given week. He’s now shown over the last six weeks that he’s capable of lighting up a defense with his arm as well, which is a very encouraging sign. With multiple high-end matchups throughout the playoffs, Nix can carry teams to fantasy championships.
