NFL DraftKings Week 16 Picks: Another Rams Stack Tops The Main Slate

Let's keep riding Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp.

Shoutout to Ian for stepping in and taking care of the DraftKings Week 15 Picks last week. And boy did he kill it. Cooper Kupp and Mark Andrews dominated in smash spots while nailing the value plays in D’Onta Foreman and DeVante Parker. Hard to navigate with all these players ending up on the COVID list at any given moment, but we stay locked in and ready to give you the best picks to go make that money.

We’re #OntoWeek15

QUARTERBACKS

Matthew Stafford ice cold efficiency fits LA Rams high octane offense.

Justin Herbert $7,200

  • Justin Herbert, one of the more consistent players at the position, has hit over 20 points in five straight games. With Austin Ekeler currently on the COVID list and looking unlikely for Sunday, Herbert and the passing game could be leaned on more. He should have no issue working against the Texans this week, and don’t forget about his sneaky rushing upside.

Matthew Stafford $6,700

  • He fell back to Earth a bit after three straight 20-plus point games, but Matthew Stafford finds a plus matchup this week against the Vikings in what should be a high scoring affair. He makes for a great pairing with Cooper Kupp as the Breakfast Club initiative continues to pay dividends week in and week out. The Rams-Vikings contest has the highest projected point total on the slate this week.

Others to consider: Jalen Hurts $6,400 (vs Giants), Cam Newton $5,600 (vs Bucs)

Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders revs up his engine for 37-yard explosion

James Robinson $5,900

  • After firing Urban Meyer, James Robinson returned to RB1 status with 18 carries and a touchdown on the day. As long as he’s getting high volume, Robinson will be productive and now he’s facing a plus matchup with the Jets on deck. The Jags passing attack is little to no threat, so the running game is what should be leaned on for the time being.

Miles Sanders $5,600

  • The Eagles finally figured out that they’re running game is pretty damn good, and have leaned heavily on it the last few weeks. Sanders has over 100 yards in back-to-back games , but still has yet to score during the 2021 season. He’s extremely due, and plays as a home favorite against the Giants in a positive game script.

Ronald Jones $5,100

  • That sound you hear is CJay’s pants hitting the floor with his boy Ronald Jones getting a shot to be the Bucs’ RB1. After the Fournette injury, Jones went for 63 yards on eight carries (7.9 ypc) showing some of that explosiveness he has to his game. Operating as the RB1 in a high powered offense, Jones has big upside with Fournette out and playing as favorites over the Panthers.

Justin Jackson $4,200*

  • With Austin Ekeler on the COVID list at the moment, Jackson would slide into an RB1 role for the Chargers. Last game with limited work as Ekeler dealt with an ankle issue, he rushed for 86 yards on 13 carries. A featured role with Ekeler sidelined would push Jackson close to 20 touches with high touchdown upside at the goal line against a weak Texans team.

Others to Consider: Najee Harris $7,400 (vs Chiefs), David Montgomery $5,700 (vs Seahawks), Sony Michel $5,500 (vs Vikings)

WIDE RECEIVERS

Antonio Brown expected to rejoin Buccaneers after his suspension | Marca

Cooper Kupp $9,100

  • As consistent as they come, Cooper Kupp is a machine. Reminiscent of CMC in 2019, Kupp at 9.1k almost seems a bit cheap for a guy guaranteed double digit targets in the highest projected game on the slate. Van Jefferson and Odell Beckham haven’t carved out consistent roles, so Kupp has been producing at an extremely high clip. No reason he should stop now.

Keenan Allen $7,700

  • Another high target guy, Keenan Allen has seen great usage in the Chargers passing game. With Ekeler out, that’s a slight bump to Chargers receivers with their target share from one of the league’s better quarterbacks. The Texans offer nothing defensively that should trouble or slow down Allen in this game.

Antonio Brown $4,900

  • Returning from suspension, Antonio Brown finds himself in a huge spot this week. The team lost Chris Godwin to a torn ACL which opens up a huge target share for Bucs pass catchers. Brown has always had great chemistry with Brady, so with Godwin out and Evans slightly banged up, he could be in line for a huge role at such a cheap price.

Gabriel Davis $4,700

  • With four touchdowns over his last three games, Gabriel Davis is on fire in Buffalo’s offense. While a matchup with the Patriots isn’t great, the silver lining should be that Stefon Diggs will likely see JC Jackson, leaving Davis to work with the rest. If both Emmanuel Sanders and Cole Beasley remain out, then Davis should have an even larger role in a pivotal divisional matchup.

Others to Consider: Hunter Renfrow $6,800 (vs Broncos), DK Metcalf $6,400 (vs Bears), Russell Gage $5,900 (vs Lions), Tyler Johnson $3,900 (vs Panthers)

TIGHT ENDS

Mark Andrews $7,000

  • Mark Andrews is playing like a man possessed right now. Over 30 points in back-to-back games despite most of that coming with Tyler Huntley under center. The Ravens are lacking other weapons on offense and are depending on Andrews to carry the load offensively. Similar to Kupp, he’s been pulling in double digit targets on the regular. With so many value options at the skill positions, you could spend up here.

Hunter Henry $4,700

  • There’s no question Hunter Henry is Mac Jones’ No. 1 red zone option. This contest against the Bills should be tough sledding which could force New England to throw the ball more, which obviously benefits Henry.

Others to Consider: Dallas Goedert $5,100 (vs Giants), Cole Kmet $3,300 (vs Seahawks)

D/ST

Philadelphia Eagles $3,600

  • The Eagles are fighting for a playoff spot, and now get a home game against Mike Glennon (or Jake Fromm) and the Giants. Turnover prone against a weaker offense, adds up to a solid projection for the Birds.

Atlanta Falcons $2,600

  • With Jared Goff currently on the COVID list, the Lions offense would take a serious hit against the Falcons. As a home favorite, the narrative sets up nicely for Atlanta, sporting one of the leagues best corners in AJ Terrell.

Others to Consider: Seattle Seahawks $3,000 (vs Bears), New York Jets $2,700 (vs Jaguars)
