RSJ’s Jackson Barrett created a value-based drafting Excel tool to create the preseason values for this Fantasy Football Trade Value Chart. The tool uses the FantasyPros consensus projections to assign values based on a 12-team, full PPR league.
Each week throughout the season, these values will be altered to reflect the player’s value for the rest of the season. Changes made to player’s value will be based on FantasyPros Rest of Season ECR, results from the season thus far, and The Wolf’s Rest of Season Rankings. But for the most part, the below values should generally reflect consensus rankings. The values provided also allow for comparing player values across positions, not just within one positional group.
For more information on how to make successful deals, check out our strategies for negotiating trades.
Be sure to tune back each week throughout the season. We’ll be adjusting the chart, discussing risers & fallers, and pinpointing trade targets.
The trade value chart for each position is linked below.
Fantasy Football Week 12 Trade Value Chart: Tight End
Tight End Riser
There wasn’t a massive shakeup among the consistent fantasy starters at tight end, so let’s just take a moment to appreciate what Brock Bowers is doing. This list pretty much sums it up and it puts Bowers in pretty good company.
Bowers has now been targeted on 29 percent of his routes and accounts for 24 percent of the team’s targets. As a tight end, this is truly special stuff.
At this point, Bowers is simply a wide receiver who you can start in your tight end slot. His 16.0 PPG ranks 14th among all pass catchers and he’s out-producing guys like Drake London and Garrett Wilson. Those with Bowers on rosters should be thrilled to see what the future holds.
Tight End Faller
After Week 5, it seemed like Tucker Kraft was among the group of tight ends that fantasy managers could feel comfortable starting every week. Kraft has delivered some quality fantasy performances since then thanks to touchdowns, but his involvement in the offense has taken a step back.
Kraft has failed to crack a 15-percent target share in a single game since Week 5. His usage reached its lowest last week when he drew just one target for a 5.9-percent target share.
The talent among Green Bay’s pass catchers is immense and it seems that Kraft is taking a back seat to some of the other options in this offense. Unless something changes, Kraft should be viewed among the touchdown-dependent tight ends.
