DraftKings NFL Week 6 Picks & Sleepers: Stack the Bills vs Chiefs Shootout

We're gonna see some DFS fireworks this weekend.

Another week, same story. Hit Dalvin Cook and Breece Hall, whiffed on Damien Harris and James Robinson. Khalil Shakir was a great sleeper pick that ended up working out, but what we’re super excited about on this slate is the ‘Game of the Week’ between the Chiefs and Bills. If it’s anything like that playoff game, we’ll be printing money with a game stack.

We’re on to Week 6. Let’s ride!

QUARTERBACKS

Josh Allen $8,200 (at KC)

There’s not much to really say here. Josh Allen averages 32.1 DK points per game and the Bills throw the ball at an absurdly high rate. He rushes, he’s a big weapon around the goal line, and he’s in the highest projected scoring game. It’s hard to pass on him here.

Geno Smith $5,700 (vs ARI)

Where did this Geno Smith come from?! With over 20 points in three straight games, Smith has been extremely accurate with the ball and brought this Seahawks’ offense to life. The loss of Rashaad Penny dealt a blow to the running game, potentially tipping the scales more in the passing game’s favor. While most stack up on the Bills/Chiefs game, this Cardinals/Seahawks matchup might be a potential pivot point to consider.

Other intriguing options:

Patrick Mahomes $8,000 (vs BUF), Kyler Murray $7,300 (at SEA), Tom Brady $6,300 (at PIT)

RUNNING BACKS

Aaron Jones $7,600 (vs NYJ)

After being in a timeshare to start the year, Aaron Jones is beginning to dominate snaps and touches out of the Packers backfield. While watching him vs AJ Dillon, Jones has way more speed and explosiveness to break off big plays — which is something this offense lacks. As large home favorites over the Jets this week, the game script points nicely in Jones’ favor.

Alvin Kamara $6,700 (vs CIN)

Alvin Kamara finished with 27 DK points last week despite being vultured by Taysom Hill three times in the red zone. The absences of Mike Thomas and Jarvis Landry opened up a large target share for Kamara to capitalize on. With Andy Dalton set to start again, we could be in for another Kamara week. Expect high usage here.

Rhamondre Stevenson $6,000 (at CLE)

The injury to Damien Harris has flung the door wide open for Rhamondre Stevenson to start putting up RB1 numbers. We know the Patriots lean run-heavy, and Stevenson was an absolute beast last week against the Lions. He also offers receiving upside in what should be a very high touch count this week against the Browns.

Breece Hall $5,800 (at GB)

The rookie ripped off 30 DK points last week and only saw his salary jump by $400. It’s very clear how talented he is and the Jets should look to get him more work moving forward. He had 20 touches last week and gets a middling Packers’ front-seven. Hall’s ceiling is sky-high in this matchup.

Eno Benjamin $4,600 (at SEA)

Both James Conner and Eno Benjamin are out this week, leaving Eno Benjamin as the team’s lone running back. Benjamin has receiving upside and can play early downs in what should be a high-scoring game. Ownership should be high, especially with all the high-priced QB/WRs looking to be rostered.

Other intriguing options:

Darrell Henderson $5,100 (vs CAR), Jeff Wilson $6,200 (at ATL), Devin Singletary $5,900 (at KC), Raheem Mostert $5,700 (vs MIN), Kenneth Walker $5,400 (vs ARI), Travis Etienne $5,000 (at IND)

WIDE RECEIVERS

Stefon Diggs $8,400 (at KC)

Last week, it was the Gabe Davis show against the Steelers, and while Davis will be a popular pick after last year’s playoff performance against the Chiefs, Stefon Diggs has a massive target share in this offense. Diggs has hit the 100-yard receiving bonus in three of five games this year and he looks like a fantastic shot to have another after only posting three catches for seven yards in that historic playoff loss.

Ja’Marr Chase $7,700 (at NO)

There’s been a lot of talk about Ja’Marr Chase and the down year he’s been having thus far. There’s also the talk about Zac Taylor’s ‘vanilla’ usage of Chase and the need to draw up more deep shots for the former LSU wideout. This seems like a great “squeaky wheel” week for Chase, who is more than due for a bounce back, especially if Tee Higgins is sidelined.

Marquise Brown $7,200 (at SEA)

Make no mistake about it. Hollywood Brown is a target hog in Arizona’s offense. With four straight games of double-digit targets and putting up great numbers, Brown has been a force in the receiving game. This matchup with the Seahawks also drips in shootout potential with two ascending offenses and two mediocre defenses. There’s no ready why Brown can’t keep his hot hand.

DJ Moore $5,100 (at LAR)

Usually, when a team goes to its QB3, all offensive weapons get a big downgrade. But, DJ Moore’s value might actually go up with PJ Walker under center. Baker has been so bad, and Walker showed some chemistry with Moore last season. Perhaps with the new coach, he’ll hammer home the idea of actually getting the best playmakers the football.

Other intriguing options:

Justin Jefferson $8,900 (at MIA), Mike Evans $7,000 (at PIT), DK Metcalf $6,800 (vs ARI), Gabe Davis $6,500 (at KC), Tyler Lockett $5,600 (vs ARI), Jakobi Meyers $5,300 (at CLE), Tyler Boyd $5,100 (at NO), Isaiah McKenzie $5,000 (at KC), George Pickens $4,700 (vs TB), Marquez Valdes-Scantling $4,500 (vs BUF), Randall Cobb $4,400 (vs NYJ), Rondale Moore $4,200 (at SEA), Zay Jones $4,200 (at IND)

TIGHT ENDS

Travis Kelce $7,800 (vs BUF)

If I’m targeting somebody on the Chiefs, it’s gotta be Travis Kelce. I don’t trust any other pass catcher to be as reliable (maybe I’ll throw a dart at MVS), and Kelce is absolutely dominating targets in the red zone. I know he just went nuclear last week, but there’s gonna be so much scoring again this week.

Hayden Hurst $3,300 (at NO)

With Tee Higgins not playing last week for the Bengals, Hayden Hurst got a slight boost in a revenge game and ended the day with 6-53-1 on 7 targets. Higgins hasn’t practiced this week and is at risk to miss another game, which would be great for Hurst’s target share. He’s been a reliable option for Burrow in the passing game.

Other intriguing options:

Mark Andrews $7,000 (at NYG), Zach Ertz $4,900 (at SEA), Tyler Higbee $4,600 (vs CAR), David Njoku $4,000 (vs NE)

DEFENSE

San Francisco 49ers $3,700 (at ATL)

I love this defense as they swarm to the football. The 49ers have scored double digits in three of their last four games, and now get a Falcons team that hasn’t exactly thrived on offense.

New Orleans Saints $2,800 (vs CIN)

It’s been no secret that the Bengals’ offensive line has struggled early on this year. With Higgins looking unlikely to play leaving Burrow down a weapon, a home Saints team could put pressure on the QB and rack up some sack points with possible turnovers.

Other intriguing options:

Minnesota Vikings $3,400 (at MIA), Carolina Panthers $2,400 (at LAR)
