RSJ’s Jackson Barrett created a value-based drafting Excel tool to create the preseason values for this Fantasy Football Trade Value Chart. The tool uses the FantasyPros consensus projections to assign values based on a 12-team, full PPR league.
Each week throughout the season, these values will be altered to reflect the player’s value for the rest of the season. Changes made to player’s value will be based on FantasyPros Rest of Season ECR, results from the season thus far, and The Wolf’s Rest of Season Rankings. But for the most part, the below values should generally reflect consensus rankings. The values provided also allow for comparing player values across positions, not just within one positional group.
For more information on how to make successful deals, check out our strategies for negotiating trades.
Be sure to tune back each week throughout the season. We’ll be adjusting the chart, discussing risers & fallers, and pinpointing trade targets.
The trade value chart for each position is linked below.
Fantasy Football Week 9 Trade Value Chart: Tight Ends
Tight End Riser
Evan Engram was the TE2 last season on the back of absurd volume. He led all tight ends in targets and receptions and even had the second-most receptions by a tight end of all time in a single season.
Engram’s projectable volume moving forward looks eerily similar to what he saw last year. Christian Kirk has been ruled out for the year, leaving Engram and Brian Thomas Jr. as the only legitimate target earners in Jacksonville.
Some people may not be fans of the Engram “PPR scam”, but whether you like it or not, Engram is going to be seeing a steady dose of targets for the rest of the season. He will contend for Elite TE status based on volume alone.
Tight End Faller
It’s not time to hit the panic button on Jake Ferguson, but he’s still slipping down the ranks. He’s failed to hit double-digit PPR points in half of his games this season and narrowly cracks TE1 status when looking at points per game.
While Ferguson may be struggling in the box score, he’s still been earning targets. He holds a 0.23 TPRR which ranks second in Dallas for players with at least 100 routes on the year. As long as he continues to draw targets, the production will come.
The biggest question is whether this is an offense that is capable of sustaining multiple fantasy-relevant receivers. Dak Prescott and the offense as a whole have clearly regressed and there may only be room for CeeDee Lamb in Dallas. This will be a situation to monitor over the next few weeks.
