It looked bad on Monday night when CJ Anderson went down, yet he returned in the same series to punch in a touchdown. I guess he was playing on fumes when he came back in, since he’s going to be out a ‘few weeks’. This means that Devontae Booker (owned in 55% of Yahoo leagues) will get a boatload of touches in Anderson’s absence and will be an excellent DFS option and RB1 option. Hopefully you added Booker a few weeks ago when we noticed his touches expanding, because he has a chance to be special in Gary Kubiak’s system.

This is great news for Andrew Luck owners and patient Donte Moncrief owners. Moncrief practiced today without the non-contact jersey and expects to play on Sunday. As of right now, a bonafide WR2 is sitting on the waiver wire of 46% of really stupid Yahoo fantasy leagues. If you happen to be in one of those dumb leagues, snatch him up, now. One could argue that he’s a WR3 on Sunday against a poor Chiefs secondary (Marcus Peters will be on TY Hilton) and should be targeted in the red zone.

“LeSean McCoy not expected to practice today. He’ll continue to get treatment and Ryan says, ‘we’ll see how he progresses through the week.”

– Rex Ryan via ESPN

Alright Rex, hopefully you learned your lesson last week. The thing about Rex though, is that he’s borderline obsessed with beating the Patriots and it shouldn’t surprise anyone if Shady plays on Sunday in a hurt/ limited role. But in all honesty, hopefully McCoy sits out this week and next week against Seattle, then has the bye week. Then, he can be well-rested for a cake schedule that looks like: Cincinnati, Jacksonville, Oakland, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Miami. Don’t fuck this up, Rex.

Quick Hits:

  • Hunter Henry is out of the concussion protocol and practiced today
  • Dez Bryant (knee) was limited but should suit up and be a WR1 Sunday night
  • Brandon Marshall (foot) and Bilal Powell (toe) did not practice on Wednesday
  • Chargers WRs Travis Benjamin (knee) and Tyrell Williams (not sure) did not practice today
  •  Jordan Reed is visiting a concussion specialist to get cleared; if he can’t go, it’s Vernon Davis
  • Delanie Walker (chest) was cleared from the injury report and should continue his little hot streak against the Jags
