Multiple Factors are Making us Sell N’Keal Harry’s Fantasy Stock

There are many factors as to why N'Keal Harry's fantasy value is diminishing by the day.

The Patriots haven’t spent a first round pick on the receiver position under Bill Belichick, and this year is a prime example as to why they never do such a thing. In typical Patriots fashion, their undrafted free agent wideout, Jakobi Meyers, has formed a better bond with Brady in camp than N’Keal Harry, and some guy named Josh Gordon was recently re-instated. On top of that, Harry’s dealt with hamstring and now foot/ankle injuries that have made him invisible since the Preseason Week 1. We all thought was a perfect fantasy fit from the start. But now it looks like he’s battling for the WR4/5 spot in the Patriots’ offense.

Harry seemed like the perfect fit on the perimeter for Tom Brady. He stands at 6-foot-4, 225 lbs, possesses natural ball skills and can dominate in the red zone. Yet, he struggled to get on the same page as the quarterback and couldn’t catch a cold at times. That combination with Brady, along with injuries, typically results in an early demotion to the Patriots’ dog house — a place where a rookie receiver never wants to land.

With Julian EdelmanJosh Gordon and Demaryius Thomas all returning to practice within the last seven days, an impactful 2019 fantasy season seems like an uphill battle for the talented Harry. In fact, he’s slid all the way down to our WR62 — which is one spot behind their UDFA, Jakobi Meyers.
