Andrew Luck has officially been ruled out for Thursday night’s game against the Steelers. That’s a huge hit to both TY Hilton and Donte Moncrief who thrive in Luck’s presence. We all know how much this team can struggle without Luck at the helm, so it’s best to avoid Colts players for Week 12.

Tight end Rob Gronkowski returned to practice today, but reports are still saying the team is preparing as if he will not suit up on Sunday. Whether or not Gronk suits up, the Patriots should have no problem handling the Jets. In the event the Gronk misses another game, Martellus Bennett would be the main beneficiary.

Big news out of Buffalo as Sammy Watkins has made great progress in his recovery. I wouldn’t expect him to suit up this week, but with Robert Woods sidelined for a few games Watkins could be back and ready to go the following week. If he’s still on your waiver wire/free agent pool go grab him now. Like seriously, now. You can finish reading this afterwards.

Quick Hits:

  • Lions RB Theo Riddick is questionable for Thursday’s game
  • Brandon LaFell did not practice today. LaFell and Tyler Boyd have the most to gain from AJ Green‘s injury
  • Donte Moncrief was added to the injury report. You can sit him with Luck out this week
  • John Fox says QB Jay Cutler is “day-to-day” despite the contradicting reports saying he should be out for the year.
  • Jaguars RB TJ Yeldon is not practicing today. Monitor his status going forward this week
