Sinnott exhibits a physical running style after the catch, showcasing solid YAC abilities. Three-down contributor as a high-motor blocker. However, he doesn’t excel as a seam stretcher and could refine his releases when lined up on the line of scrimmage, relying more on physicality than sheer athleticism to beat press coverage.

BEN SINNOTT PRODUCTION PROFILE

Ben Sinnott arrived at Kansas State as an unranked, walk-on prospect. However, he created a role as a versatile player who could lineup at fullback, H-back, in-line tight end, and in the slot.

Sinnott broke out during his final year, catching 49 of 73 targets for 676 yards and six touchdowns. Sinnott was an analytics darling with an 82.0 overall PFF grade, 2.02 yards per route run, and a 76.1 run block grade. He also ranked highly with 14 missed tackles forced (T-4th), five deep catches (T-6th), and five contested catches (T-20th).

As a redshirt sophomore, the coaching staff utilized him much more, securing 31 receptions for 447 yards and four touchdowns on 46 targets. He also saw a bump in usage from only 62 pass snaps the year prior to 373 pass snaps in 2022. He made his mark as a valuable pass-catching weapon who could line up anywhere in the Kansas State offense.

The KSU product is the only tight end in this class with an average depth of target (aDOT) in the double digits over the past two seasons (10.2). Sinnott is one of four tight end prospects in this class to exceed 1,000 receiving yards since 2022.

BOTTOM LINE

Overall, Ben Sinnott is an uber-athletic tight end whose testing numbers match his film. He’s a good route runner with reliable hands and can make plays after the catch. Due to his versatility and willingness to block, he will be a three-down tight end in the NFL with the ability to line up in various positions.

Ben Sinnott put together a complete final season, which proves he has real upside as a tight end prospect, ranking highly in various PFF categories, including missed tackles forced, deep catches, and contested catches. Impressively, he finished his career with over 1,000 yards receiving in a run-first offense.

Due to his three-down upside, athleticism, and receiving ability, he’s a solid dynasty prospect and will be a useful flier at the end of rookie drafts. He’s clearly behind Brock Bowers and Ja’Tavion Sanders, but he’s in the same tier as Cade Stover, Jaheim Bell, and Theo Johnson — four tight ends with fantasy potential and upside.
