Hello folks, welcome to another addition to our DFS rotation where we look at the DraftKings Week 10 sleepers and value plays that can help take your lineups to the next level. Here, we take a look at some guys you can round out your roster with after spending up for guys like Christian McCaffrey and Davante Adams.
Generally, I would consider value plays as QBs under $6k, RBs under $6k, WRs under $5k, and TEs under $4k.
QUARTERBACK
Teddy Bridgewater $5,500
After a surprising win in Dallas last week, Bridgewater looks to keep Denver ascending with a matchup against the Eagles. The return of Jerry Jeudy to the Broncos lineup has proved to be significant as he has a knack to get open and keep drives alive. While he doesn’t always take advantage of it, Bridgewater has some rushing upside and did capitalize on it last week with a rushing score. For a QB averaging 17.5 DK points, $5.5k seems low for someone with the number of weapons he has at his disposal.
RUNNING BACKS
D’Ernest Johnson $4,700
At the current moment, Kareem Hunt remains out with an injury while the team placed Nick Chubb on the COVID list. There’s a chance Chubb could return for Sunday’s game against New England, but at the moment he appears unlikely to suit up. This leaves D’Ernest Johnson as the lone running back on the Browns depth chart. The last time Johnson was the featured back, he ripped off 27.8 points against the Broncos.
Rhamondre Stevenson $4,500
With Damien Harris yet to practice and Stevenson returning to practice late this week, it looks like the rookie has a solid chance of playing after suffering a concussion in Week 9. If Harris misses Week 10, Stevenson would likely assume early-down RB1 duties and share the backfield with Brandon Bolden. The rookie from Oklahoma has solid upside as the team’s (potential) RB1.
WIDE RECEIVERS
Jamal Agnew $4,500
After a tough six-point performance last week, it ended the streak of three straight 10-plus point performances for Agnew. Trevor Lawrence’s target distribution is very puzzling as he often targets the likes of Agnew and Dan Arnold over Marvin Jones and Laviska Shenault. Regardless, Agnew is averaging 7.5 targets over his last four games, and now has another positive game script against the Colts in Indianapolis.
Deonte Harris $4,000
Since returning from injury, Harris has been targeted 15 times over the Saints’ last two games. With no one else stepping up into the vacant Michael Thomas role, Harris has an edge over both Tre’Quan Smith and Marquez Callaway. He’s always possessed deep threat ability, but the high target volume is a good sign of things to come against the Titans.
TIGHT END
Jared Cook $3,200
Always a factor down in the red zone, Cook has been a reliable weapon for Justin Herbert and the Chargers offense. While the top wideouts and Ekeler get the majority of the targets, Cook has generally been good for about 5-8 targets per game while being a top option in the red zone.
