HIGH-PRICED PICKS TO BUILD AROUND

Jimbo: Tyreek Hill ($8600): The Chiefs have been struggling and the Titans represent a matchup that should be high scoring with some back and forth affair going on. Hill’s high target numbers are tantalizing, and he has the highest ceiling of anyone at the position with 50 point potential any given week. Given how bad the Titans’ secondary has been, I love a patented TyFreak week incoming.

Wolf – Davante Adams ($8900): The easy answer is always Derrick Henry ($9200). Gifted with some mid-priced Week 7 RBs I love, however, I’m often pivoting to pay up for both Davante Adams & Tyreek Hill, who find themselves in the 2nd & 1st most generous matchups for WRs. Both defenses have struggled vs. the big play & both WRs feel set for 30+ FP eruptions. If choosing one, Adams is my lean: he saw 18, 11, and 16 targets prior to last week’s 5 target disappearance, and should see 12+ looks come his way against a WFT defense that’ll have no answers. Enjoy the 10-180-2TD day.

MID-PRICED BARGAINS

Jimbo: Calvin Ridley ($6600)/Cordarrelle Patterson ($6300): I love building a stack around these Falcons players (and running it back with Gesicki most likely.) Ridley is one of the most underperformers this season based on his usage and expected fantasy points from those numbers. He’s so due for a breakout game. With Patterson, I love how he can still get goal-line touches in the backfield, while still being a high-volume pass catcher in the offense. Best of both worlds.

Wolf: Darrell Henderson ($6600): How bold, Wolf! The Week 7 Chalk. Indeed, Henderson will be in the top-3 highest-owned RBs. In my opinion, he’s the riskiest to fade. In DK Scoring, the Lions have given up 20+ FPs to every back they’ve faced. They average both an RB rush & receiving TD surrendered to backs per week, and Henderson is a great bet to go both. Never mind Henderson hasn’t dipped below 17 PPR FPs or the RB20 all year & is fresh off a season-high 25 FPs last week. I may toss a couple of Sony Michel ($4200) contrarian lineups out there in case of a blowout or an early exit. Still, Henderson feels like a near-lock for 20+ points at a sub-$7K price. Hammer it.

LOW-PRICED SLEEPERS

Jimbo: Mecole Hardman/Rashod Bateman: If I pivot off of Tyreek to go for Derrick Henry so to say, then I’ll go with Hardman as my cheap guy. Otherwise, I’ll be rolling with Bateman who started slow last week despite a respectable six targets in the offense. The Ravens clearly need more from their receivers, and the rookie first-rounder has serious talent and upside if he can get the ball.

Wolf: OJ Howard/CJ Uzomah  Hammering the two top-priced WRs & even Henry leaves us cutting somewhere. For me, TE is the easiest punt spot. Assuming he suits up, OJ Howard is my cleat top option. He’s fresh off a 17 FP gem (TE5), Gronk’s already ruled out along with Antonio Brown, opening up plenty of targets for Howard, who played with plenty of burst racking up YAC last week. Here comes another 5+ rec, 50+ yard, 1 TD day.

If cutting even further, CJ Uzomah has scored in two of the past three weeks, and dances with a Ravens team getting hammered for the 3rd most FPs among TEs. The Ravens have quietly shut down the outside WRs as well as any team, but been very susceptible down the seams. Uzomah is as solid a TD bet as you’ll find in that $3K Range.
