DJ Moore has been a model of consistency throughout his fantasy career. Yet, he seems to be underrated and overlooked on a weekly basis. But following another dazzling performance that resulted in eight grabs for 126 yards on 12 targets, Moore is up to 22 receptions and 285 receiving yards on 31 receptions on the season. Most thought Robby Anderson would ball out for Sam Darnold, but it’s been Moore who’s impressed and should continue to impress with Christian McCaffrey out of the lineup for the next few weeks.

Not only is Moore the Panthers’ clear WR1, but he’s a fantasy WR1 in half PPR scoring. Through three games, Moore is WR11 and is averaging over 15 fantasy points per game.
With the extra game, the wideout is on pace for over 1,600 receiving yards, 125 receptions, and six touchdowns.
Most importantly, he’s earned Steve Smith’s respect.
“He’s a playmaker,” Smitty said of Moore. “He can line up in the slot, he can line up on the outside. He’s elusive. He’ll run through you. He’ll run around you. And he’ll run away from you.
“If you really wanna know the truth of how I feel: They have never been able to replace me . . . until today. DJ Moore will be at that organization for a long time and I look forward to talking about him on the network.”
With McCaffrey’s target share now up for grabs, expect Moore to continue to produce in fantasy land. Terrace Marshall will continue to grow in the offense and it looks like he has taken Anderson’s job, which should only help Moore in the long run with fewer eyes on the veteran.
Although The Wolf was a bit lower on Moore compared to the consensus, the receiver has jumped up to WR14 overall on the Rest of Season Fantasy Rankings — higher than Calvin Ridley, Chris Godwin, and Mike Evans.
