All eyes were on Dak Prescott last week as he faced the vaunted Patriots D in a wet and disgusting Gillette Stadium. Prescott appeared to struggle from a combination of the weather and Bill Belichick’s defensive scheme all night. Dak going 19-of-33 for 212 yards and a pick isn’t exactly what fantasy owners were hoping for.
Dak still managed to make some plays to Randall Cobb and Michael Gallup and had the Cowboys in a chance to win the game multiple times. While this performance shouldn’t lower expectations too much, it’s worth noting Dak’s schedule going forward. This next week features a heavy weight showdown against the Bills elite secondary, followed by the Bears, Rams, and Eagles.
However, there’s optimism that Dak can rebound. The offense has been too good all year to jump ship now. Just temper expectations and don’t be afraid to pivot to one of our streamers, if need be.
