Week 1 Fantasy Football Rankings (2019) UPDATED

Get your 2019 Fantasy Football season off to the right start with our Week 1 Rankings

The 2019 Fantasy Football season is about to kickoff, and there’s no doctor who can cure this 72- hour endless Niagara Falls bloodflow.

In mere days, owners of Davante Adams, David Montgomery, and the Packers’ Aarons will be treated to Chicago and Green Bay. A few sleeps later, and we awaken to Scott Hanson‘s angelic, glowing face and his gift-wrapped Quad Boxes.

Truly, this is Christmas on Crack for us Fantasy Addicts.

Getting off to a fast fantasy start is always crucial, and you need the right Rankings and Sit/Start Advice to do so. Below, find the best Week 1 Fantasy Football Rankings in the business.

If you have any specific lineup questions, please let me know. While rankings are helpful, many factors are at play that can cause a change. For example, you may be an underdog, and starting a “boom-or-bust” player is more appealing for your lineup versus a surefire 7 or 8 points. Or maybe you just need a surefire 8-9 point floor.

Regardless, hit me up @RotoStreetWolf, and be sure to tune into our Fantasy Sit / Start Show, LIVE Sunday @ 11 AM EST Facebook Live. Be there.

As a reminder: these rankings are based on 1/2 PPR, 4 Pt Passing TD Scoring.

Week 1 Rankings Updates

Sunday Update:

Tune in LIVE on Facebook NOW! Updates on Stefon Diggs, Mike Evans, Adrian Peterson, and our reaction to Antonio Brown NOW!

TNF 9/5

  • Ezekiel Elliott is officially back! In my excitement, I slotted him in as the top runner, but Jane Slater has (thankfully) helped tamper my expectations. Zeke will reportedly get “20-25 reps,” which likely means snaps and not touches. He’s still practicing only in a “limited” fashion and will undoubtedly have some rust to shake off.  He slides down to RB13 — you’ll still use him, but it might be a week or two until we see the true Zeke.
  • According to HC Sean McVay, stud RB Todd Gurley won’t be limited or on a “snap count” at all in his 2019 debut. Reports of his demise were greatly exaggerated, and expect your usual 20+ FPs from TGIII. He’s my RB6.
  • Odell Beckham reportedly hasn’t “opened up” while running, and compared himself to a “fast car with the alignment off.” Not exactly what you want to hear from your Top-WR heading into the season. He’s fallen from my WR2 to WR10 with the risk of injury aggravation, and could fall even further.
  • Just when we think the Antonio Brown drama has ended… he goes and throws another tantrum. He’s now at risk of being suspended by the Raiders, which could also very well end his Oakland tenure before it even begins. What an absolute headcase. Monitor this closely, he’s plummeted this week now unlikely to suit up.
  • Derrius Guice is slated to start and act as the featured back. In fact, Adrian Peterson might even be a healthy scratch. The Eagles sport one of the tougher run-defenses, and game flow could force him out early if the Redskins go down early and hard. Still, his usability just gained
  • Not wanting to be removed from the “Diva WRs” party, Julio Jones is now claiming he may not suit up in Week 1. Monitor this.
