2018 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 11: Start, Stash and Stream

Want to know who to start, stash and stream for this upcoming week? RSJ has you covered.

Welcome back to Start, Stash and Stream where we provide an in depth look into the waiver wire landscape each week.  With the trade deadline passed, and three weeks left in the regular season, we are hopefully all at the point of making final adjustments to our playoff roster through the waiver wire. And while you may be under the impression you final squad is set, key moves down the stretch can not only boost your squad to championship level, but can also prevent your opponents from snaking key players that could drastically impact leagues. Your FAAB money is more or less irrelevant now, so it’s all or nothing if you truly love a player or have a desperate need. As a note, bye week players worthy of Start, Stash and Stream consideration will find themselves in the “Stash” section from here on out, so be wary.

Start

  1. Josh Adams, RB, Philadelphia Eagles (13% Yahoo ownership); (6-8% FAAB)
  2. Derrick Henry, RB, Tennessee Titans (48% Yahoo ownership); (5-7% FAAB)
  3. Doug Martin, RB, Oakland Raiders (45% Yahoo ownership); (5-7% FAAB)
  4. DeDe Westbrook, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars (34% Yahoo ownership); (4-6% FAAB)
  5. Jalen Richard, RB, Oakland Raiders (48% Yahoo ownership); (4-6% FAAB)
  6. Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys (35% Yahoo ownership); (3-5% FAAB)
  7. Maurice Harris, WR, Washington Redskins (37% Yahoo ownership); (2-4% FAAB)

The Eagles appeared to abandon the running game (16 rushes for 71 yards) far too early Sunday night and paid dearly for it, losing to Dallas at home 27-20. However, when they ran it with rookie Josh Adams, chunk yardage was aplenty. Adams led Philly in rushes (7) and rushing yardage (47), averaging a cool 6.71 yards per pop. With Corey Clement slowly being phased out of the offense, and Wendell Smallwood operating in the pass catching role, look for Adams to command a marjory of the Eagles carries going forward…With four touchdowns in his past three games, Derrick Henry finally finds himself back into our fantasy hearts with his recent trend of solid, Flex-worthy production. Listen, I know a lot of you hate dropped him a few weeks ago (probably deservedly so), but I have been on his side for a while, and knew a turnaround was coming. With a lot of winnable games on the Titans schedule, Henry could be utilized like the RB2 we paid for prior to the season…Dak Prescott and the Cowboys offense looks revitalized since the addition of Amari Cooper. Cooper has caught 11 of 18 targets for 133 yards and 1 touchdown in his two games since coming over to Dallas, and looks to be the top end wideout Dak needed to operate at the high-level we remember from years ago. Dak has now scored 21+ fantasy points in 3 of his last 4 games, and faces Atlanta, New Orleans, Philly, Indy, and Tampa down the stretch. Now is your last chance to buy.

Stash

    1. Chris Godwin, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (44% Yahoo ownership); (5-7% FAAB)
    2. Rex Burkhead, RB, New England Patriots (19% Yahoo ownership); (4-6% FAAB)
    3. Frank Gore, RB, Miami Dolphins (27% Yahoo ownership); (3-5% FAAB)
    4. Rashaad Penny, RB, Seattle Seahawks (14% Yahoo ownership); (3-5% FAAB)
    5. Danny Amendola, WR, Miami Dolphins (44% Yahoo ownership); (3-5% FAAB)

    42. D’Onta Foreman, RB, Houston Texans (12% Yahoo ownership)
    43. Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens (8% Yahoo ownership)
    44. Gerald Everett, TE, Los Angeles Rams (1% Yahoo ownership)
    45. Tyler Higbee, TE, Los Angeles Rams (0% Yahoo ownership)
    46. Jordan Matthews, WR, Philadelphia Eagles (1% Yahoo ownership)
    47. Antonio Callaway, WR, Cleveland Browns (11% Yahoo ownership)
    48. Kendrick Bourne, WR, San Francisco 49ers (1% Yahoo ownership)
    49. David Moore, WR, Seattle Seahawks (14% Yahoo ownership)
    50. Keke Coutee, WR, Houston Texans (19% Yahoo ownership)
    51. Christian Kirk, WR, Arizona Cardinals (34% Yahoo ownership)
    52. Kapri Bibbs, RB, Washington Redskins (3% Yahoo ownership)

    61. Rod Smith, RB, Dallas Cowboys (1% Yahoo ownership)
    62. Jonnu Smith, TE, Tennessee Titans (1% Yahoo ownership)

Did you see that offensive performance Sunday from the New England Patriots? 10 points and just 284 yards of total offense. Without Rob Gronkowski, the passing game looks lost. And dear God if Julian Edelman misses time. But all is not lost in New England, with Rex Burkhead returning to practice last week. If Bill Belichcik can scheme ways to make Cordarrelle Patterson fantasy relevant and effective, he can certainly do the same with Burkhead’s talent and versatility…With Chris Carson (hip) missing Week 10, we all knew Mike Davis would handle lead back duties. But after leaving the field for a few plays, the Seahawks gave Rashaad Penny an opportunity to make a statement. And boy, did he ever. Penny carved up the Rams run defense, rushing for 108 on just 12 carries, scoring a touchdown. With Carson’s status up in the air, Penny could take over a larger chunk of the Seahawks rushing offense going forward, with Davis being utilized more as a change of pace and pass catching back…Anthony Miller played just 4 less snaps than Taylor Gabriel, and produced quite a bit more (5-122-1 TD, to goose eggs across the board for Gabriel). Miller has now scored in 3 of his past 5 weeks, and looks to be operating as the #2 opposite Allen Robinson II as Mitchell Trubisky continues his surge up the QB ranks…With Cooper Kupp (ACL) missing the rest of the season, second year wideout Josh Reynolds should see a drastic uptick in volume. His big play ability on the Rams juggernaut offense make him a great speculative add with a few weeks left before the fantasy playoffs start.

Stream

  1. Marcus Mariota, QB, Tennessee Titans (30% Yahoo ownership)
  2. Ricky Seals-Jones, TE, Arizona Cardinals (17% Yahoo ownership)
  3. C.J. Uzomah, TE, Cincinnati Bengals (28% Yahoo ownership)
  4. Carolina Panthers DST (47% Yahoo ownership)
  5. Arizona Cardinals DST (14% Yahoo ownership)
  6. Blake Bortles, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars (43% Yahoo ownership)
  7. Joe Flacco, QB, Baltimore Ravens (24% Yahoo ownership)
  8. Eli Manning, QB, New York Giants (22% Yahoo ownership)
  9. James O’Shaughnessy, TE, Jacksonville Jaguars (0% Yahoo ownership)

After back to back 20+ fantasy point games, Marcus Mariota finds himself squarely in the streamer pool Week 11. Mariota squares off against a scuffling Indy defense that just allowed 21.60 to Blake Bortles and 27.76 to Derek Carr in consecutive weeks…After remaining mostly irrelevant this year, Ricky Seals-Jones finally finds himself on the streaming map with a dream matchup against the Raiders. Seals-Jones had his best game of the year from a usage standpoint last week, catching 5 of 9 balls for 51 yards…Doubling down on Cardinal players, the Arizona Cardinals DST faces a Raider offense that has scored 9 total points the past two weeks. Even in Arrowhead, the Cardinals registered 5 fantasy points, sacking Patrick Mahomes 5 times.

Others, for those of you in leagues with your grandparents and pets (50-60% Yahoo ownership)

  1. Courtland Sutton, WR, Denver Broncs (55% Yahoo ownership); (10-12% FAAB)
  2. Chris Thompson, RB, Washington Redskins (60% Yahoo ownership); (8-10% FAAB)
  3. Mike Davis, RB, Seattle Seahawks (52% Yahoo ownership); (7-9% FAAB)
  4. Ito Smith, RB, Atlanta Falcons (59% Yahoo ownership); (7-9% FAAB)
  5. Peyton Barber, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (54% Yahoo ownership); (4-6% FAAB)
  6. Tyrell Williams, WR, Los Angeles Chargers (54% Yahoo ownership); (3-5% FAAB)
  7. Vance McDonald, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers (52% Yahoo ownership); (3-5% FAAB)
  8. Royce Freeman, RB, Denver Broncos (52% Yahoo ownership); (3-5% FAAB)
  9. Mike Williams, WR, Los Angeles Chargers (53% Yahoo ownership); (1% FAAB)
  10. Pittsburgh Steelers DST (55% Yahoo ownership)
  11. Baltimore Ravens DST (53% Yahoo ownership)

The real winner of the Demaryius Thomas trade, Courtland Sutton still finds himself available in 45% of leagues. He caught three balls for 57 yards before his Week 10 bye and could take advantage of a cake schedule down the stretch…Mike Davis totaled 80 yards on 15 touches and 1 TD, but ceded carries to Penny. I still prefer him to Penny, mostly due to his pass catching prowess…Peyton Barber ran well against Washington, rushing for 61 yards on 13 carries (4.7 YPC). While he is a touchdown dependent Flex option and his usage remains suspect, he appears to be the lead back in a high-powered Bucs offense.

  • There are many myths about RedSocker45. Is he, in fact, Pedro Martinez? Is he a mathematician gone rogue? Does he have magical powers equal to Gandalf The White? In actuality, he is a normal dude that grew up in the North End of Boston and he loves being Italian, eating delicious food and the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics. Myth, busted.
