Updated Week 9 Fantasy Football Rankings and Tiers (2025)

The Wolf's 2025 Week 9 Fantasy Football Rankings and Tiers are here!

Updated Week 9 Fantasy Football Rankings Sunday, 11/2

-Jacoby Brissett is starting for the Cardinals. Honestly, this has been better for the whole offense through two starts, and Brissett has been QB7 and QB12 across both his games. He now gets a DAL defense surrendering the most FPs to QBs, and is firmly on the Week 9 Fantasy Football QB Radar. Trey McBride was already TE1 but gets a boost, as does Marvin Harrison Jr.

Cooper Kupp is expected to miss the SNF contest vs. the Commanders. We already know JSN will erupt, but now Tory Horton carries some deep sleeper appeal. AJ Barner gets a bump up as a viable Week 9 TE Streamer too.

Bam Knight has at least been confirmed as the starter, although Michael Carter is due to be elevated and “all three backs” are expected to have a role. It will be a hot hand situation, which makes me nervous, but the Cowboys are atrocious and Bam should have the first crack at establishing that hot hand. He’s still a low-end RB2 for me with just a slight bump down.

Saturday, 11/1

Michael Carter has reportedly been running with the ones ahead of Bam Knight this week, despite only being on the practice squad. I dropped Bam a few spots as of now, and will be monitoring this closely the rest of the weekend.

MASSIVE UPDATE Friday, 10/31

Kyle Monangai ROCKETS up the Week 9 Fantasy Football Rankings with D’Andre Swift officially ruled OUT with a groin injury. The Bengals surrender the most FPs to RBs, and Monangai should see the vast majority of the work. Check out my deeper dive into Kyle Monangai Week 9 Fantasy Outlook here.

Rhamondre Stevenson is officially OUT, leaving TreVeyon Henderson as the top dog vs. a Falcons team surrendering the 11th most FPs to RBs (fresh off giving up a 35 point day to Christian McCaffrey and 30 combined points to the Dolphins). Henderson rockets up to my RB22, but I still worry about the Patriots being sketchy with usage.

Travis Hunter suffered a knee injury in practice that has him now on the IR. Insane! Brian Thomas Jr, reportedly fresh off his best week of practice, gets a massive stock up in a great matchup vs. the burnable Raiders’ secondary.

Thursday, 10/30

Terry McLaurin has been ruled out. Deebo Samuel gets a healthy bump up, especially with Jayden Daniels returning to practice.

Nico Collins and Christian Kirk both returned to practice, docking the stock of Jayden Higgins, Jaylin Noel, and Xavier Hutchinson. With no Pat Surtain, Collins is up to my WR12

-Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyers are practicing at full speed. This makes Tre Tucker a less appealing streamer.

Josh Downs is once again struggling with injuries, this time a hip injury. Alec Pierce would get a massive boost if Downs is removed.

Bryce Young is back practicing in full and has been added to the Week 9 Fantasy Football rankings (QB26… so hopefully you don’t need to play him).

Wednesday, 10/29

Isiah Pacheco is Week-to-Week, launching Kareem Hunt into my Top-20 RBs in a plus Week 9 matchup vs. the Bills

Michael Carter has been released, further securing Bam Knight into the lead Cardinals RB role. He’s now up 4 spots to RB21.
