RSJ’s Jackson Barrett created a value-based drafting Excel tool to create the preseason values for this Fantasy Football Trade Value Chart. The tool uses the FantasyPros consensus projections to assign values based on a 12-team, full PPR league.
Each week throughout the season, these values will be altered to reflect the player’s value for the rest of the season. Changes made to player’s value will be based on FantasyPros Rest of Season ECR, results from the season thus far, and The Wolf’s Rest of Season Rankings. But for the most part, the below values should generally reflect consensus rankings. The values provided also allow for comparing player values across positions, not just within one positional group.
For more information on how to make successful deals, check out our strategies for negotiating trades.
Be sure to tune back each week throughout the season. We’ll be adjusting the chart, discussing risers & fallers, and pinpointing trade targets.
The trade value chart for each position is linked below.
Fantasy Football Week 10 Trade Value Chart: Tight Ends
Tight End Riser
Without their top two receivers, the Buccaneers have turned to Cade Otton through the air. Otton has now eclipsed a 20-percent target share in three straight games, including a healthy 36-percent target share last week on Monday Night Football.
As you might expect, Otton’s new-found role has been paying dividends in the fantasy scoring department. Otton is averaging 22.9 PPR points per game across the last three contests and is the TE1 by a wide margin during this stretch.
The only thing that may slow Otton down is the return of Mike Evans following the Buccaneers’ bye next week. When Evans returns, Otton’s target total will certainly take a hit, but the question is by how much? His usage should be monitored closely as soon as Evans is back on the field
Tight End Faller
Jake Ferguson was our tight end faller last week and he continues to slip down the rankings ahead of Week 10. Ferguson had steadily seen his usage improve over the last few weeks which was encouraging, but it appears that this offense will be in complete shambles for the foreseeable future.
Dak Prescott suffered a significant hamstring injury last week and he is a legitimate IR candidate following this injury. The Dallas offense was already struggling to stay afloat with Prescott under center and it will inevitably sink further when Cooper Rush takes the reigns on Sunday.
It seems that Ferguson’s only path to high-end fantasy production is if Rush opts to feed him with a steady dose of check-downs. But until we see how this offense functions with Rush at quarterback, it’s hard to feel confident about anyone in this offense other than CeeDee Lamb.
