2023 Fantasy Football RB Handcuffs Depth Chart and Rankings: The Best Running Backs to Stash For the Fantasy Playoffs

It's time to lock up the RB handcuffs for a deep playoff run.

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s cuffing season.

With the 2023 fantasy football regular season winding down, it’s time to finalize the playoff roster and prepare for a deep playoff run. The fantasy “experts” always told you it was stupid to draft a handcuff, but ‘Zero RB’ is all the rage now, and with the number of injuries to the position, the right handcuff could win you a title.

Suppose you’re a Tony Pollard manager, stash Rico Dowdle. If you’re a Derrick Henry manager, stash Tyjae Spears. If you’re a Christian McCaffrey manager, stash Elijah Mitchell.

Benches thin out during the fantasy playoffs because riding the workhorses who got you there is vital. So, subtract your WR5/6 and add the top handcuffs available to help you hoist a trophy at the end of the season.

WEEK 14 RB DEPTH CHART NOTES

Top Week 14 Waiver Wire Target: Tyjae Spears or Ezekiel Elliott or Roschon Johnson?!

* Bears: After a strange Week 12 that saw Roschon Johnson leading the way, all three running backs should be available and healthy to play Week 14. This shapes up to a three-headed nightmare and a coinflip about who will lead the backfield for the remainder of the season.

** Packers: With starter Aaron Jones (knee) sidelined and not practicing whatsoever, AJ Dillon will be RB1 until Jones returns.

**** Patriots: Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) will likely miss the rest of the fantasy season with a brutal high ankle sprain, leaving one of our favorite handcuffs, Ezekiel Elliott, with the team’s workhorse duties. However, do we really care who gets the touches in this horrific Patriots offense?

***** Seahawks: Kenneth Walker III (oblique) will likely split touches with Zach Charbonnet once he returns, but Charbonnet is also banged up after getting Week 13 workhorse duties. If Walker and Charbonnet can’t go, DeeJay Dallas will be the guy in Week 14.
