NFL Week 10 DFS: Ravens vs Dolphins DraftKings TNF Showdown Picks, Sleepers, Strategy

Ride Lamar Jackson and Myles Gaskin into the green on Thursday Night Football.

Before we hop into this NFL Week 10 DFS DraftKings TNF Showdown breakdown, my name is Rich Xenos (rxendaddy on DraftKings) and I’ve been playing DFS since 2018. I’ve been a big fan of RSJ since the jump and I am excited to contribute to the DraftKings Showdown slates.

Tonight’s TNF game between the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins isn’t the most exciting match-up but could be an interesting slate for the Showdown. The stud plays are straightforward but there are a few different routes you can go with the value plays. I’m writing this under the assumption Jacoby Brissett will be starting but be sure to check back closer to game time because Tua is still questionable.

SHOWDOWN CAPTAIN STRATEGY

Unless you’re making a bunch of lineups tonight it’s an easy decision, don’t overthink it just put Lamar Jackson ($20,700/$13,800) in and move on to the flex spots.

SHOWDOWN FLEX STRATEGY

I will be fading Marquise Brown at $11,000 as well as Mark Andrews at $8,800. I understand either could burn me but I find the Miami side to have more appealing stud plays for the flex spots.

Myles Gaskin at $9,400 tonight is a great play. Since Malcolm Brown went on the IR, Gaskin’s been seeing much more usage in the rushing game. He’s coming off a game with 20 rushing attempts, which was his most of the season. Although he wasn’t incredibly efficient, he still found the end zone and added six targets. The volume is there and he’s viable in any game script that’s thrown his way.

I also really like Jaylen Waddle tonight at $8,200. With DeVante Parker and Will Fuller on the IR, Waddle has been the main benefactor. He has seen double-digit targets in three of his last four games and you can confidently play him tonight.

There’s a ton of interesting value plays under $2,000 tonight. This is great because of the studs we’ll be able to pay up for the higher salary players due to getting a salary relief. Salvon Ahmed at $800 is the highest point per dollar play on the slate. Ahmed only had four carries last week, but the previous three weeks he had seven rushing attempts and two targets, which is more than enough volume to get there at that price tag.

Another cheap option I like is Adam Sheehan at $600. The Dolphins have a high usage rate with their tight ends and I expect him to see at least a few targets tonight. Albert Wilson at $400 and Nick Boyle at $200 are also potential salary relief plays.

SUMMARY & BEST BET

Overall I think this is a pretty straightforward slate. Captain Lamar and play the Miami studs in Gaskin and Waddle, and even Brissett and Mike Gesicki too if you’re able to fit them. Ahmed is my favorite cheap play and Sheehan is behind him. My top player prop bet of the night is Ahmed over 16.5 rushing yards.

Overall, it should be an interesting showdown slate, and best of luck tonight.
