George Kittle, TE San Francisco 49ers (foot)

Kittle broke a bone in his foot this past week and is now done for the remainder of the fantasy football season. Here’s The Wolf’s take on how Kittle owners should attempt to patch things up for the rest of the season.

Aaron Jones, RB Green Bay Packers

5:00 PM Update: Packers will have Aaron Jones active but will be “careful” with his use. This just seems like a fantasy disaster waiting to happen. If you have decent bench options, I would look elsewhere instead of inserting Jones into the lineup. The team will be with Jones, Tyler Ervin, and Dexter Williams tonight.

This Thursday night football game is the definition of a disaster. According to RapSheet, the Packers will likely be without their stud running back, along with Jamaal Williams and rookie AJ Dillon against the 49ers. Creatures named Tyler Ervin and Dexter Williams will be decent streams as their respective replacements. Learn more about the two creatures in CJay’s piece.

Kenny Golladay, WR Detroit Lions (hip)

Kenny G will miss Week 9 and could end up on IR, meaning he would miss a minimum of three games while recovering from this injury. It would be a big loss for the Lions offense and here’s Duck’s take on the matter.

Myles Gaskin, RB Miami Dolphins (MCL)

The team placed Gaskin on IR, which will sideline him for three weeks. Here’s some more detail on why you should trust newly acquired DeAndre Washington, moving forward.

Players Marked Good to Go

  • Austin Hooper, TE Cleveland Browns (appendectomy)
    • Hooper will “definitely” return after the team’s bye week
  • Jordan Reed, TE San Francisco 49ers (knee)
    • The oft-injured tight end was activated off IR and should see a decent ROS workload with Kittle gone

Ruled Out

  • Deebo Samuel, WR San Francisco 49ers (Hamstring)
  • Jamaal Williams, RB Green Bay Packers (COVID-19)
  • Brandon Aiyuk, WR San Francisco 49ers (COVID-19)
  • Kendrick Bourne, WR San Francisco 49ers (COVID-19)
  • AJ Dillon, RB Green Bay Packers (COVID-19)
  • Tevin Coleman, RB San Francisco 49ers (Knee)
  • Gardner Minshew, QB Jacksonville Jaguars (Thumb)
  • Andy Dalton, QB Dallas Cowboys (concussion/COVID-19)

Players to Monitor

  • Michael Thomas, WR New Orleans Saints (hamstring)
  • Calvin Ridley, WR Atlanta Falcons (foot)
  • Chris Carson, RB Seattle Seahawks (foot)
  • Jonathan Taylor, RB Indianapolis Colts (ankle)
  • Jamison Crowder, WR New York Jets (groin)
  • Diontae Johnson, WR Pittsburgh Steelers (toe)
  • Mark Ingram, RB Baltimore Ravens (ankle)

Likely Out
