Michael Thomas Continues Record-Setting Fantasy Start to 2019

Michael Thomas is on pace to break Marvin Harrison's single-season reception record.

If you didn’t already have Michael Thomas in the conversation for the NFL’s top wideout entering 2019, you sure do now. Even as the Saints struggled to move the ball on Sunday he caught 13 of 14 targets for 152 yards, and his 86 catches thus far this season are the most by anyone through 9 games in NFL history. Despite sharing an offense with one of the most talented RBs in football, Thomas continues to prove himself to be an irreplaceable asset that will likely be a top 10 fantasy WR for the 4th straight season.

As great as Thomas has been, the rich will likely get richer as the Saints head to Tampa Bay to face the Bucs, who’ve been the most generous defense to opposing WRs so far this season. He’ll also get to face Atlanta again in a few weeks before a relatively tough stretch (vs. SF, vs. IND, @TEN) for the fantasy playoffs. No matter the matchup, Thomas will continue to feast and continue to prove why he’s the WR1 on The Wolf’s Rest of Season rankings.
