Christian Kirk has made us look pretty dumb so far in 2019, but he made up for his lack of availability and fantasy points in a big way in Week 10. Kirk caught 6-of-10 targets for 138 yards and THREE scores in the Cardinals’ shootout against the Buccaneers. These touchdowns were the first (three) of his 2019 season and hopefully him and Kyler Murray can put something together for the fantasy stretch run.
Prior to the season, we thought the former Texas A&M Aggie would fit like a glove in Kliff Kingsbury’s Air Raid offense. The receiver played in the Air Raid in college and possesses the prototypical Air Raid WR attributes.
With Murray starting to come into his own over the past few weeks, Kirk has seemingly overtaken old man Larry Fitzgerald, who has slowed down after his hot start. If Kirk can stay healthy, he’ll continue to get 10ish targets per game and rack up receptions in the quick-hitting passing offense.
After they take on the 49ers, the Cardinals have a bye week before getting decent matchups against the Rams, Steelers, Browns and Seahawks.
