AJ Green (Ankle Injury) “Shockingly” Sitting, Fantasy Implications

AJ Green might milk his "ankle injury" the rest of the season. What does it mean for the rest of their pass-catchers in Week 10?

It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to realize the Bengals are a stupid franchise. It’s clear AJ Green wants no part of playing for the hopeless and pathetic team. However, they decided to be prideful and not trade their 30 year old, oft-injured wideout. In return, it seems like Green is going to milk this ankle injury for all it’s worth and could potentially sit out the entire season. We wouldn’t blame you if you hate-cut him in fantasy football after this.

In his absence, Tyler Boyd will continue drawing No.1 corners. While he’s done OK in this role, Marlon Humphrey‘s has eliminated far better. Boyd’s $4700 price tag on DKings is intriguing, though I prefer Robby Anderson at the same price for tournaments.

Meanwhile, Auden Tate (19%, $4000) preserves some streaming value, as does Alex Erickson (13%, $3900), who’s quietly racked up 21.5 and 15.7 PPR FPs in back-to-back weeks. Both have received the appropriate Week 10 bumps in my rankings, as Baltimore is surrendering the 13th most FPs to WRs. Still, all passing game options are question marks with Ryan Finley making his first career start… but it can’t be much worse than Dalton, right? RIGHT?!
