Tevin Coleman Struggles to Find Consistency After Week 8 Fantasy Eruption

The 49ers backfield will be frustrating when it's at full strength.

Last week we had our guy Ian Hartitz on our newest weekly Fantasy Fullback Dive episode (SUBSCRIBE!), the DFS Millionaire Maker Playbook. Both Hartitz and The Wolf talked up Tevin Coleman’s juicy spot against the Panthers and he responded with an absurd four touchdowns and a shitload of yardage — making us look like geniuses in the process.

However, against the Cardinals’ on TNF, Coleman had an extremely unlucky performance. Coleman had a touchdown called back and the typically sure-handed RB dropped what could have been an 80-yard touchdown on a perfectly executed screen pass.

To make matters worse, Matt Breida looked fast and fresh, totaling 92 yards on 17 touches. If you’re a Coleman owner, you’ll need to pick your spots when Breida is banged up. Otherwise, Coleman is sort of a boom-or-bust RB2/FLEX option on a weekly basis.
