2018 Fantasy Football: Week 11 Start ‘Em or Sit ‘Em (TNF Preview)

Jim Matthew USA TODAY
Outside of the locks, there isn't too much to be excited about tonight.

Who Made the List?

Hopefully, tonight’s game will be more competitive than last Thursday’s 52-21 blowout. With Seattle sitting at 4-5 and Green Bay at 4-4-1, both teams need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. There are plenty of interesting fantasy prospects taking the field tonight but only one cracks the Start/Sit list.

For those unfamiliar, any players from the Thursday Night game that make this list are featured in a stand-alone article every Thursday afternoon. The remainder of the Start/Sit list will be released on Saturday in order to provide you with the latest information possible. This allows us to avoid neglecting the two Thursday Night teams while continuing to offer the most current advice.

I make these suggestions based on each player’s weekly matchups, individual and surrounding talent and in-game usage. While predicting the future is anything but easy, using these tools can help us make better choices when determining which players we start or sit from week to week.

Let me remind you that these lists consist of players who aren’t obvious. I shouldn’t have to tell you to start guys like Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams or Russell Wilson. This article revolves around players who haven’t yet reached “stud” status, and thus require weekly consideration for your lineup.

Start

Running Back

Aaron Jones:

He’s free! After being confined to a brutal committee, Mike McCarthy finally gave Jones the lion’s share of the work last week. Jones played 74% of the offensive snaps and racked up 172 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns on 15 carries and three receptions. This week the Packers travel to Seattle to play a Seahawks defense that has allowed the fourth-most yards per carry (5.0).

Check back on Saturday for the full slate of Start/Sits
