Week 7 Fantasy Football Rankings (2018)

Enter 2018's Second Half with a W by using The Wolf's Week 7 Fantasy Football Rankings

For those sheep who don’t follow Roto Street Journal and miss their playoffs, Week 7 of Fantasy Football marks the midway point. Sensing “Lady Fantasy” is about to flee once more, many owners might experience a “midlife crisis” here, creating opportunities for wolves to Buy Low on underperforming studs. This “midway mark” is often a major turning point, sending once flourishing owners crashing down, and launching basement dwellers on heroic stretch runs. Regardless of where you sit, heading into fantasy’s second half with a W is crucial. The Wolf’s Week 7 Fantasy Football Rankings are the best place to start.

Additionally, with the Week 7 Fantasy Football Rankings Rundown, you can hear my thoughts through the rankings process, including who I’m higher and lower on, and more. I’ll also keep a running “Updates Log” of the news you need to know heading into Week 7.

But that’s just the start. If you have any specific lineup questions, please let me know. While rankings are helpful, many factors are at play that can cause a change. For example, you may be an underdog, and starting a “boom-or-bust” player is more appealing for your lineup versus a surefire 7 or 8 points.

Week 7 Updates

  • Melvin Gordon has been ruled OUT. Austin Ekeler becomes an immediate low end RB1 in his absence, with Keenan Allen becoming a more key cog in this offense today as well.

  • Nick Chubb is now the unquestioned early-down RB, and gets a cakewalk opener to the role with Tampa Bay on the docket. He’s a Top-15 RB play this week.

  • Chris Thompson is out, locking Adrian Peterson into even more surefire rushing volume. Consider him a high-end RB2 now.

  • Rob Gronkowski is OUT. Though ugly, Dwayne Allen could be a desperation TD flier back up plan if you have nothing else. Geoff Swaim for the Cowboys is a 10% owned Creature who could pan out too.
