Dez suffered an injury on Sunday night against the Bears and it looks like this could be something serious after all. He did return to the game and catch a touchdown, but Dez hasn’t been the most healthy guy over the course of his career. If he is out on Sunday or is limited by injury, Ezekiel Elliott, Jason Witten and Cole Beasley all have their values raised.

“That can’t happen. That can’t happen. And if I’m speaking for it, that won’t happen again,” Newton said Wednesday of Benjamin’s reception shutout. “He’s too good of a player” – Jeremy Bergman – NFL.com

After posting a stat line of 1 target and 0 receptions, QB Cam Newton will make sure that Benjamin gets his share going forward. That needs to be the case if Carolina wants to have success, as the offense looked terrible against Minnesota. It should be a big bounce back game against Atlanta for Benjamin. His poor outing could lead to a low usage percentage in DFS this weekend. *Hint hint*

Jackson missed practice time last week but still suited up to find the endzone against the Giants. The Redskins have a great matchup against the Browns this week where Kirk Cousins should have no problem throwing for 300+ yards. With so many receiving options, and Jackson still hurting with an ankle injury, it may be better to look for Jamison Crowder to be a safer option. He’s still available in a handful of leagues.

Eric Decker aggravated his shoulder against the Chiefs in the blowout loss. It would be a big hit to the Jets offense if he was to miss time, especially with Brandon Marshall already dealing with injuries. If anything, this gives a big boost to Quincy Enunwa from the slot position.

Quick Hits:

  • Jaguars TE Julius Thomas missed practice Wednesday with an elbow injury
  • Patriots QBs Jimmy Garoppolo and Jacoby Brissett were both participants at practice today
  • Jonathan Stewart is still out with his hamstring injury. Will not play Week 4
  • Ravens back Kenneth Dixon is targeting Week 5 for his return. The organization has mentioned their desire to change up their backfield plan.
