NFL Fantasy Waiver Wire Targets Week 12: Pierce, Lawrence & More

Week 12 of the 2025/26 NFL season is on the horizon, which means fantasy players need to start tweaking their rosters before the play-offs are staged.

With that in mind, read on we as look at some of the NFL stars worth picking off the waiver wire ahead of the latest round of fixtures.

Alec Pierce – Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts face a stern test of their Super Bowl credentials this weekend when they face the Kansas City Chiefs at the Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs are currently +900 for the Super Bowl in Betway’s NFL betting markets after suffering back-to-back defeats and will be eager to bounce back against the Colts.

However, they could find it difficult to stop Colts’ wide receiver Alec Pierce, who has been in sparkling form over the past few weeks.

He has now hit 14.8+ fantasy points in three of his last four outings and is well worth adding to your fantasy rosters for the rest of the season.

Trevor Lawrence – Jacksonville Jaguars

It would be fair to say that Trevor Lawrence is not everyone’s cup of tea as an NFL quarterback, but he is undoubtedly a useful acquisition for fantasy teams.

He finished the game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday with 153 yards, one passing touchdown, one rushing touchdown and one interception.

Lawrence’s 16 fantasy points were in line with what he has produced for most of the season and the upcoming fixture against the Arizona Cardinals is favourable.

With the Jaguars still in contention for a play-off spot, Lawrence will not be resting on his laurels for the rest of the campaign.

Emanuel Wilson – Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers secured a 27-20 victory over the New York Giants, but an injury to Josh Jacobs took the gloss off the result.

Jacobs’ exit from the game allowed Emanuel Wilson the opportunity to showcase his talent, and he weighed in with 11 carries for 40 yards and a touchdown.

While Jacobs is expected to recover from the setback, Wilson will likely be utilised more to ensure that his teammate is not overworked.

The Packers are scheduled to face the Minnesota Vikings this weekend and Wilson is worth adding to fantasy rosters.

Xavier Legette – Carolina Panthers

Based on Xavier Legette’s anonymous performance against the New Orleans Saints, he could be considered a risky pick for fantasy teams.

However, he played a key role in their 30-27 overtime victory over the Atlanta Falcons last weekend and is worth chancing this week.

The Panthers are in contention for the play-offs this term and will need their skilled players to sparkle if they are to progress to the post-season.

Productive wide receivers are worth their weight in gold in fantasy football and Legette looks to be a viable option at the moment.

Darnell Washington – Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh Steelers kept themselves on course for the play-offs with an impressive 34-12 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

Darnell Washington tallied four receptions for 67 yards – his fourth 3+ reception game in his last six appearances for the Steelers.

He has become an increasingly influential offensive tool over the past few weeks and appears to be trusted by quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

With the Steelers pushing to win the AFC North title, Washington is a shrewd waiver wire addition to fantasy squads.
