Rams vs Seahawks: Player Prop Bets to Hammer for NFL Week 5 Thursday Night Football

Let's ride Matthew Stafford and Russell Wilson to the bank.

We had another good day on Monday for all my riders, going 2-1 and hitting our longshot play (thank you, Keenan Allen, for falling just one reception short). This brings our overall record to 7-8 and +3.8u on the year. This Thursday we have the Los Angeles Rams traveling to Seattle to take on the Seahawks. I am all over the Rams this game, but let’s go through some player props to try and bring in more money.

As always, we have a bet for a player on each team as well as a “longshot” play of over +150 odds. This week, we’re going risky and have three bets all with plus money.

TYLER LOCKETT OVER 5.5 RECEPTIONS (+115)

Jalen Ramsey’s job on Thursday will be to contain DK Metcalf — a task that Ramsey should win. Although Tyler Lockett is dealing with a lingering hip injury, he played last week and finished with four receptions. This is a riskier play, but one I think will ultimately come down to how effective Jalen Ramsey is at covering Metcalf.

MATTHEW STAFFORD OVER 2.5 PASSING TD (+135)

The Seahawks have the worst passing defense in the NFL, so I expect the Rams to jump out to an early lead. The only reason why Stafford won’t hit this prop would be due to being ahead by so much that the Rams run out the clock. With odds this good, it’s hard not to rely on Stafford, who hit this prop against the Buccaneers and the Bears.

RUSSELL WILSON ANYTIME TD SCORER (+300)

Let’s face it, the Rams front-seven is going to completely overwhelm a weak and underperforming Seahawks offensive line. As a longshot play, I think Russell Wilson can make a play with his legs (especially with Chris Carson likely out) and keep one for a touchdown. At +300 odds, it could be worth sprinkling a few sheckles.
