TITANS WIDE RECEIVERS (JULIO JONES & AJ BROWN)
The Titans will be without two of their most dynamic playmakers, Julio Jones and AJ Brown, for Week 4 against the Jets. With those two studs out of the lineup, that leaves a sea of creatures to catch targets from Chester Rogers, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Josh Reynolds, and Cameron Batson.
“That is something we believe in in this organization, is ‘Next man up’ mentality,” Tannehill told reporters. “Not sure who is going to end up trotting out there on Sunday, but confident in whoever it is. I got a ton of reps and confidence in those guys, and it has been something we have done since we have been here. Excited about the guys we have that can possibly step up for us.”
Rogers, the team’s starting slot receiver, has played in 48 percent of the team’s snaps. But has only recorded seven receptions for 90 yards and a score. Even without the two wideouts, I’d probably avoid Rogers at this point unless you need a Hail Mary DFS option.
On the other hand, Westbrook has some upside. He saw an expanded role in Week 3, playing 78 percent of snaps and snagging all four of his targets for 53 yards and a score. Westbrook also leads the entire team in red-zone targets (3) this year. Westbrook is a decent Flex flier for very needy fantasy squads and a pretty good DFS option at his $3,200 price tag.
