2019 Daily Fantasy: DraftKings NFL Week 13 Picks and Sleepers

Let's keep this money train going in Week 13!

Wow, what a week. For every Derrick Henry or Baker Mayfield hit there was a corresponding miss, mostly coming from the tilting receivers. Right game, wrong receiver. Julio, Odell and Crowder all overtaken by Ridley, Landry and Anderson on the day. We’re attacking the right matchups, and will look to continue stuffing our wallets with cash again this week.

Let’s get it.

Quarterbacks:

  • Patrick Mahomes ($7,400)
    • Andy Reid coming off of a bye is a dangerous thing. An Andy Reid team led by Mahomes playing against the Raiders plus coming off a loss, this could get ugly fast. Mahomes looks to be in line for a huge performance.
  • Nick Foles ($5,700)
    • He’s been throwing it a lot since his return from injury, but the yardage and touchdowns have been underwhelming. Instead, Fournette has been getting his due which is likely to change against one of the league’s best run defenses. Foles and the Jags should have more success throwing the ball this week.
  • Andy Dalton ($4,700)
    • The Red Rocket is back! Reclaiming his starting role after the Ryan Finley experiment failed, Dalton finds a plus matchup at home against the Jets for a dirt cheap price. In his last two starts Dalton had 20+ point in each. Too much value here.

Running Backs:

  • Christian McCaffrey ($10,500)
    • With all the games off of the main slate this week, there’s a lack of stud RBs available in Week 13. This makes rostering CMC even more intriguing despite the high salary. The plus matchup with Washington certainly helps the case for playing him as he should rattle off 30ish points.
  • Le’Veon Bell ($7,200)
    • Despite not having any eye popping games, Bell has produced four straight games of 15+ points for the Jets. A great matchup against the Bengals should extend that streak with a good chance for 100+ yards and a score.
  • Jonathan Williams ($5,300)
    • Williams was given the lead back role with Marlon Mack’s injury and he did not disappoint. 26 carries for 104 yards and a score is a great stat line, and he’ll be the guy once again this week versus the Titans. Home favorite also means positive game script.
  • Philip Lindsay ($5,000)
    • He’s grabbed the lead back duties in Denver and comes into a good matchup against the Chargers. LA can be a difficult team to throw on and Brandon Allen isn’t going to be putting up crazy numbers when he drops back. Denver would win this game controlling the tempo and handing the ball of to their best playmaker in Lindsay.
  • Benny Snell ($4,700)
    • With James Conner likely out once again, Snell has been thrust into the lead back role over Jaylen Samuels. It’s clear Snell is the superior runner, handling 21 carries for 98 yards last week. That much volume at this price is great value.

Wide Receivers:

  • Davante Adams ($7,000)
    • The Packers passing game has been in a funk, and what better way to break out than with a game against the Giants. The team loves giving up big plays to receivers, and we all know Rodgers PEPPERS the living hell out of Adams when healthy.
  • DJ Moore ($6,800)
    • The numbers Moore has been putting up are insane. At least 6 catches and 95 yards in four straight games while getting nearly double digit targets in each of those. Him and Kyle Allen are dialed in and now get a plus matchup against the Redskins at home.
  • DJ Chark ($6,600)
    • This game should serve as a great bounce back spot for Chark. Facing the worst defense against receivers, Chark should abuse the Bucs secondary once Foles gets the offense back on track.
  • Tyler Boyd ($5,500)
    • The return of Andy Dalton will surely help Boyd here against a struggling Jets secondary. The squeaky wheel was greased last week and should continue to operate smoothly in this contest here.
  • Mecole Hardman ($4,200)
    • While I certainly love Tyreek Hill this week, Hardman could provide great value as a tournament boom/bust play. Chiefs will score a lot, there’s a solid chance Hardman’s speed burns past a bad Raiders secondary for a score. One touchdown will pay off his low price.

Tight Ends:

  • Travis Kelce ($7,200)
    • While the Raiders secondary struggles, they especially struggle against the tight end spot. Kelce has flourished with the return of Mahomes and I can easily see an explosion game here in Week 13.
  • Dallas Goedert ($4,100)
    • With all the injuries to Eagles receivers here, Zach Ertz included, the door could swing right open for Goedert in such a plus matchup against the Dolphins. Ertz didn’t practice Wednesday, but even if he does play the Eagles should have no problem using their TEs to move the ball.
  • Tyler Higbee ($2,500)
    • For as bad as the Rams offense has looked, the matchup is ripe for Higbee here. Starter Gerald Everett is in danger of missing this week, which would push Higbee into the lead role (despite out snapping him last week anyways) against the best TE matchup in the Cardinals defense.

Defense

  • Philadelphia Eagles ($3,600)
    • The Eagles defense has been solid and who doesn’t love matchups against the Miami Dolphins? My favorite defense to pay up for.
  • Baltimore Ravens ($2,800)
    • This Ravens defense has taken off since the acquisition of Marcus Peters. Five straight games of double digit points, and I know the 49ers just gashed the Packers last week, but Jimmy G has been known to turn the ball over, and they’ll likely have to throw a lot trying to keep pace with Lamar Jackson.
