Stefon “Squeaky Wheel” Diggs Doesn’t Get Oiled Up, Remains Fantasy Bust

Calling Stefon Diggs a massive fantasy disappointment would be the definition of an understatement.

There’s nothing worse than a bitchy, diva wide receiver. Actually, the only thing worse is a diva, bitchy wide receiver who doesn’t perform on the field. Stefon Diggs unfortunately checks all three of those boxes right now. Diggs, who is one of the biggest busts of 2019, has been fucking useless this season. He’s hit double digits ONCE through five weeks, he won’t stop complaining about the offensive scheme, and he was just paid a ridiculous 5-year, $72M extension before he barely squeaked out his first 100 catch, 1,000 yard season.

To make matters worse, we fell for the “squeaky wheel” scenario in Week 5. We told our loyal Wolf Pack to play the man since he wouldn’t shut up all week. In return, he put up a measly 44 yards on three receptions, resulting in a 15 percent target share.

Meanwhile, Adam Thielen, the player who called out his quarterback but still found time to go to practice all week, corralled seven of eight targets for 130 yards and two scores. Funny how that works.

Should you hate cut Diggs? No, because the talent and potential is still there. However, he’s taken a massive tumble down The Wolf’s ROS Big Board to No. 90 overall (-36 vs the ECR).
