Ronald Jones Dominates Bucs’ Backfield, Finally Gets Fantasy Nod Over Peyton Barber

Make no mistake about it... the RoJo Era is finally upon us.

IT’S HAPPENING!! My guy Ronald Jones has finally overtaken the Bucs’ backfield from the plodding and terrible Peyton Barber, and shown flashes of what made him a second round pick in 2018. Out-carrying Barber 33 to 22 over the last two games, Jones is starting to get into a groove and making plays. During his 70 yd, one touchdown performance against the Rams, RoJo put defenders on skates and looked the part. He also had two huge runs that were called back due to holding penalties — which should have had him around 125ish yards on the ground.

Over the last two weeks, Jones has put up 150 yards and two scores on 33 carries, compared to Barber’s pedestrian 67 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries. Unfortunately, he’s still a non-factor in the passing game (three receptions), yet he seems to have gained total control over the early-down and goal-line touches.

After averaging a god awful 1.9 yards per carry as a rookie, Jones is up to a very solid 4.7 yards per carry this season. Most importantly, The Wolf has woken up to RoJo’s greatness, ranking him as his ROS RB30, which is eight spots higher than the experts.
