Week 2 Fantasy Football Rankings (2019)

Keep building your lead, or get your season back on track, with our Week 2 Fantasy Football Rankings

With Week One in the books, Fantasy Football owners need to emulate the great Bill Belichick. No one’s better at learning what’s needed, and then avoiding the rear view mirror and focusing solely at the task at hand. Do the same with our Week 2 Fantasy Football Rankings.

Did you dominate? Great, on to Week 2. Did you get crushed or suffer a heart-breaker? Sucks, but on to Week 2. Your sole focus should be burying your Week 2 opponent into submission with the best Fantasy Football rankings in the business.

Below, find my Week 2 rankings, as well as the Rankings Rundown to hear my thoughts on each player, who I’m higher and lower on, and more.

I’ll also keep a running “Updates Log” of the news you need to know heading into Week 2 — Joe Mixon, Tyler Lockett, and Sam Darnold are already names we need to track.

If you have any specific lineup questions, please let me know. While rankings are helpful, many factors are at play that can cause a change. For example, you may be an underdog, and starting a “boom-or-bust” player is more appealing for your lineup versus a surefire 7 or 8 points.

Hit me up @RotoStreetWolf, and be sure to tune into our Fantasy Sit / Start Show, this Sunday @ 11 AM EST Facebook Live.

As a reminder: these rankings are based on 1/2 PPR, 4 Pt Passing TD Scoring.

Week 2 Fantasy Football Rankings Update

  • Hunter Henry is out this week, and for the foreseeable future. Here’s your replacement plans.
  • Joe Mixon returned to Friday’s walkthrough. He’s still questionable, but at least we have a shot here. *UPDATE* Mixon is going to test his ankle out pre-game, but is expected to play.
  • Sterling Shepard is officially out. Expect another Target Hog monster game from Evan Engram
  • Antonio Brown is expected to suit up, but is reportedly behind in the Patriots playbook. The matchup is so ripe that he almost has to be in lineups, but don’t be surprised if he disappoints in his 2019 debut.
  • Sam Darnold is out with mono, and the create Trevor Siemian reemerges. Needless to say, this severely limits Jamison Crowder and Robby Anderson‘s fantasy appeal.
  • While on the Jets, Le’Veon Bell is questionable with a shoulder injury, but expected to play. He’ll be leaned upon heavily with Darnold out, but the quality of that usage should be low with Siemian posing no threat to defenders.
  • Mike Williams is expected to suit up, but only in a limited “Red Zone” role. He’ll still have a solid shot at a score, but his floor is significantly lower. I’d look elsewhere (Phillip Dorsett only 14% owned).
