DraftKings NFL Week 18 Picks and Value: A Cowboys Stack Could Pay Off Big Time

Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb are our favorite stack heading into Week 18

Remember me folks?! That’s right, now that the 2023 fantasy football season is over and we still have on more week of regular season football, it’s time for the return of our DraftKings NFL article.

Let’s ride for one last time!

QUARTERBACKS

Dak Prescott $8,000 (vs WAS)

  • If we’re paying up at QB this week, I’m gonna ride with Dak. The Cowboys still need to win to clinch their division, so they won’t be resting any starters. Luckily, they get to play the Commanders who are arguably the NFL’s worst defense. The worst defense paired against one of the hottest QBs in the league right now is a matchup dream — especially with the lack of Dallas’ running game right now.

Tyrod Taylor $5,300 (vs PHI)

  • Speaking of bad defenses, the Eagles are completely falling apart and just bleeding points to their opposition. Tyrod Taylor isn’t a great quarterback, but he showed something against the Rams last week, and has rushing upside, which is a huge bonus.

Nick Mullens $5,100 (vs DET)

  • The Vikings are going back to Nick Mullens under center and looking at this matchup I’m salivating. The Lions have been involved in some high scoring games and Mullens showed in two of his prior starts that he can sling it on high volume. Minnesota isn’t really running the ball, and should be playing from behind against the Lions here.

Other intriguing options:

Justin Fields $7,200 (vs GB), Kyler Murray $6,400 (vs SEA), Derek Carr $5,600 (vs ATL)

RUNNING BACKS

Kenneth Walker $6,500 (vs ARI)

  • Whenever I see a matchup with the Cardinals, and I pounce on that running back. It’s as simple as that. Seattle prefers to be a run first offense and in this matchup should find themselves with a positive game script to lean on the run.

Zamir White $6,000 (vs DEN)

  • In his three starts, Zamir White has been used as a true workhorse with 17-plus carries in each game. He’s also been involved in the receiving game so he’s virtually been given the elite role of Josh Jacobs and delivered averaging roughly 15 points per game. There’s no real reason to rush Jacobs back, and it’s a great matchup with the Broncos this week for RBs so I would expect White to cap the season with another stellar outing.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire $4,900 (vs LAC)

  • The Chiefs appear to be resting a handful of their starters, which should include starting RB Isiah Pacheco dealing with a quad injury. Other backup RB Jerick McKinnon is on IR, meaning we’re looking at a full workload for former first rounder Clyde Edwards-Helaire. CEH was the starter for Week 15 against the Patriots and turned in 20 points off of 17 touches including one score.

Other intriguing options:

Rachaad White $7,600 (vs CAR), David Montgomery $6,400 (vs MIN), James Conner $6,100 (vs SEA), Khalil Herbert $5,700 (vs GB), Tyjae Spears $4,600 (vs JAX)

WIDE RECEIVERS

CeeDee Lamb $9,300 (vs WAS)

  • Linking back up to the Dak pick at the top, if you’re going to go with Dak you need to stack with CeeDee (or even Brandin Cooks). Lamb has seen insane volume with 10+ targets in five straight games now while scoring in seven of his last eight contests. He’s red hot and facing a terrible defense. Bombs away.

DJ Moore $7,000 (vs GB)

  • He’s dealing with an ankle injury, but should Moore be out there on the field Sunday I will be interested. The Packers are another bad defense that bleed points to opponents. And Moore has been a target hog for Justin Fields. This could be Fields’ final chance to prove that he is the guy for Chicago’s future. And if he’s going to do that then Moore will see a great number of targets going his way.

Jordan Addison $5,300 (vs DET)

  • He had a quiet game last time against the Lions, but Addison seems primed for a major bounce back this week. Justin Jefferson still commands a high number of targets, but he hasn’t been putting up the numbers we’re accustomed to. The loss of TJ Hockenson also opens up more opportunity for Addison and the receiving core to all boost their usage and numbers.

Wan’Dale Robinson $4,200 (vs PHI)

  • While he hasn’t been consistent this year, Wan’Dale is showing flashes of what he can be for this Giants offense. Coming off a season high 9 targets, Robinson should keep it going against a struggling Eagles defense.

Christian Kirk $3,000 (vs TEN)

  • The stone minimum for a receiver, Kirk was recently activated off of IR. This is a must win game for the Jags, as they are “win and in” currently. Kirk has been a huge weapon of Lawrence’s and his presence would be greatly felt for a team that’s trending down at the wrong time. DK made a big-time mistake with this free square.

Other intriguing options:

Amon-Ra St Brown $8,600 (vs MIN), DK Metcalf $7,200 (vs ARI), Brandin Cooks $5,200 (vs WAS), Greg Dortch $4,600 (vs SEA)

TIGHT ENDS

Austin Hooper $2,700 (vs DEN)

  • A tricky position this week, but Austin Hooper has seen a nice bump in usage with Michael Mayer sidelined. Playing mid to high 80% of the snaps, Hooper is out on the field often. While Davante Adams got insane usage last week, those numbers will come back to Earth and distribute more evenly across pass catchers. Luckily, the Raiders target tree is very condensed to only a few guys.

Noah Gray $2,500 (vs LAC)

  • Another Chiefs player that will be put into a starting role due to rest, Gray will be the TE1 with Kelce on the bench. He’s had limited work, but he’s a big target that can operate in the red zone. There are worse dart throws you could make for a minimum priced tight end.

Other intriguing options:

Juwan Johnson $3,600 (vs ATL), Johnny Mundt $3,000 (vs DET)

DEFENSE

Patriots D/ST $3,600 (vs NYJ)

The Patriots defense has been playing pretty well as of late as their defense has held them in games and given them a chance to win. Now they get a Jets team led by Trevor Siemian who has turned the ball over in both games he’s started.

Bengals D/ST $3,000 (vs CLE)

With the Browns having already clinched their seeding, they will be resting nearly all their important offensive players. Jeff Driskell will be starting for Cleveland (revenge game?) and he hasn’t taken a snap all season. They have nothing to play for so I wouldn’t expect much in this game.

Other intriguing options:

Bears D/ST $2,900 (vs GB)
