New York Jets 2023 Futures Guide: Player Props & Odds

Let's cash in on the new-look New York Jets.

The New York Jets have made multiple key moves this offseason to improve their roster. Last season, the Jets missed the playoffs but were surprising to many as they still exceeded expectations. With a now Aaron Rodgers-led offense, the New York Jets have skyrocketed to the sixth-best odds (+1600) to win the Super Bowl. Let’s take a look at the futures of the 2023 Jets.

2023 JETS PLAYER PROPS

Most of the market surrounding the NFL focuses on which teams will win the division and which teams will prevail in their respective conference in order to have a chance at the Super Bowl. While looking over NFL betting in New Jersey it’s important to consider that many of the underlooked bets often provide the best value.

Aaron Rodgers 2023-24 Regular Season Passing Yards: Under 4,050.5 (-120)

In the 2022-23 NFL season, Rodgers passed for just 3,695 yards in an underwhelming final season with the Green Bay Packers. The Jets have plenty of weapons for Rodgers in Garrett Wilson, Allen Lazard, and Mecole Hardman. However, they also have an elite young running back in Breece Hall who will take away from Rodgers’ stat line.

Aaron Rodgers 2023-24 Regular Season Passing Touchdowns: Under 31.5 (-120)

Again, Rodgers was underwhelming to say the least last season as he threw for just 26 touchdowns. Much like the case of his passing yards, his touchdowns will decrease due to Hall’s impact on the offense. He also isn’t the player he once was and will likely not be among the leaders in many statistical categories.

Garrett Wilson 2023-24 Regular Season receiving yards: Over 1,150.5 (-115)

Wilson had a phenomenal rookie year with the Jets as he finished with 1,103 yards, putting the league on watch for the up-and-coming star receiver. Better quarterback play will only improve his play along with his statistics. He should be in for a breakout year even with the talent next to him in the receiving room.

Garrett Wilson 2023-24 Regular Season Receiving TDs: Over 9 (-115)

Wilson finished with just four touchdowns last season, but should be on the lookout to see the end zone much more this season with an improved quarterback throwing to him.

AFC ODDS

New York Jets 2023-24 AFC Champions: +900

The Jets have the fourth-best odds to win the conference in the AFC behind just the Kansas City Chiefs (+380), Cincinnati Bengals (+450), and the Buffalo Bills (+475). Any of these three teams are viewed as the favorite to come out of the AFC, but the new and improved Jets roster does make things interesting. The Chiefs repeating would be most people’s pick, but they will have a lot of competition in the AFC this season, especially with playoff Rodgers having a good roster. This will be one of the best teams he’s played with in a while and there’s really no telling how far this team can go.

NFL AWARDS

Aaron Rodgers to win the 2023-24 Regular Season MVP: +1800

Rodgers won the MVP award in back-to-back years two years ago with a much better Packers roster than last year. Losing Davante Adams was a huge blow to not only the Packers but really Rodgers as he was used to having perhaps the best receiver in the NFL as his No. 1 guy. Now, he has a stacked receiver room with a great surrounding roster and the Jets could finish very high in the standings. It won’t be a surprise if Rodgers pulls off his third MVP award in four
years.

Garrett Wilson to win the 2023-24 Regular Season OPOY: +1200

Looking over the rankings for respective players from a fantasy point of view, posting over 1,100 yards as a rookie is absurd, but doing so with a rotation of lackluster quarterbacks is even more impressive. Wilson has very high odds for this award and rightfully so. An elite quarterback can make Wilson into a superstar without even trying. The 22-year-old could sneak in and take this award from the favorites Justin Jefferson and Ja’marr Chase.
