Remember When Tyler Lockett Was a Locked-In Fantasy WR1?

Tyler Lockett has fallen back down to earth after an electric start to the fantasy season.

Where the hell has Tyler Lockett gone?! Since his Week 9 explosion against the Bucs, Lockett has totaled a putrid and season-ruining four grabs for 64 yards on just nine targets. Lockett has gone from a player who had a double-digit floor, to a player who totaled a fucking goose egg against the vulnerable Vikings defense on Monday Night Football. It could stem from his brutal shin bruise that he suffered in Week 10, but he had a bye week to heal and did not miss either of the two games after the bye. Either way, him and Russell Wilson are both making life difficult for Lockett’s fantasy owners as they head into the playoffs.

It’s obviously hard to trust the now boom-or-bust receiver, but at this point in the season with the playoffs underway, it’s tough to bench Lockett with his high blow up potential. Luckily, he has a pretty favorable schedule ahead with the Rams, Panthers and Cardinals waiting in the wings. Let’s hope Wilson and Lockett can rekindle their bromance and lead fantasy owners to the promised land.
