Shanahanigans Return! Tevin Coleman Erased for a Fantasy Creature Named Raheem Mostert

Of course Tevin Coleman was stapled to the bench by Kyle Shanahan with Matt Breida out of the lineup!

It was supposed to be another ‘Tevin Coleman Day’ with the fragile Matt Breida out of the lineup (finally). But Kyle Shanahan was up to his old Shanahanigans again when he supplanted Breida for the useless Raheem Mostert — who exploded for 146 yards and a score on a whopping 19 carries against the tough Ravens defense. This left Coleman owners livid, as he finished with a pathetic SIX yards on FIVE carries. Absolutely disgusting.

Just when one thought they could trust Coleman to get the majority of the carries, Mostert was the one who made the fantasy impact — for no one. With Breida likely to throw his typical fantasy wrench into the 49ers backfield next week against the Saints, Mostert will likely go back to being the third head of this grotesque backfield.

But with Breida always one awkward step away from breaking every bone in his lower body, it wouldn’t hurt to stash Mostert for the stretch run — who is available in 86 percent of leagues. At this point of the season when it’s all about strengthening the bottom of your roster, Mostert is a decent end of bench stash with high upside if Breida or Coleman were to go down during the fantasy playoffs.
