John Brown Builds on Career Year with Fantasy Explosion Against Dolphins

John Brown has been a fantasy force all season and it's likely to continue for the rest of the season.

Already in the midst of a career year, John Brown kept the train rolling in a big way Sunday against the Dolphins. His 9 catches, 137 yards, and 2 TDs were all season-highs and gave him 34.7 PPR points, the top WR performance around the league for Week 11. He’s on pace for a career year across the board and should continue to perform like a true WR1 despite a tough schedule moving forward.

Brown’s first year in Buffalo has been an incredible one, as he’s developed a rapport with Josh Allen that has propelled the 29-year-old into fantasy gamebreaker territory as we approach the playoffs. His current pace would give him 89 catches and 1,300 yards on the year, which would both shatter the career-highs he set in his 2nd NFL season in 2015. He’s emerged as both a deep threat and a steady, reliable option for his young QB, and the result has been a very successful season for both Brown and the Bills.

As I alluded to, Brown’s schedule moving forward is no joke. Of his final 5 fantasy-relevant matchups, 4 come against the stout pass defenses of Denver, Dallas, Baltimore, and New England. Still, Brown is getting enough opportunities and producing at a high enough level week in and week out that he warrants a start regardless of opponent.
