Cardinals’ Disgusting Offensive Line Performance Puts Kyler Murray’s Fantasy Stock in Question

Even though Kyler Murray possesses all the talent in the world, his offense line is a gigantic question mark.

We’ve been all aboard the Air Raid offense and the potential of Kyler Murray and the Cardinals’ fantasy weapons in 2019. However, where there is often tremendous hype sometimes we can get a little carried away with things. The Cardinals looked disastrous in their previous preseason game, starting with a very poor performance from the offensive line. We figured the o-line could be a point of trouble this year, but that might have been understated. Murray finished the night 3-of-8 passing for 12 yards and was under siege from the very start. The pressure got to the rookie signal caller, which resulted in poor accuracy and a safety.

A poor offensive system and line destroyed David Johnson’s ceiling last year, and there are creeping thoughts that the offensive line could ruin our special Air Raid dreams. Murray struggled to get anything going as he was constantly under pressure from the defense. I suppose the one silver lining from the Cardinals’ last game is that their defense is so bad, they’ll be playing from behind a lot and should have the ball plenty needing to throw. But that damn offensive line, I fear for Murray’s safety back there especially being a mobile QB. Still, the Air Raid hype seems to be cooling down a bit which I suppose could be a good thing for smart investors.

Murray is still our QB7, which is +5 vs the ECR.
