Thank god. We had a feeling that Mike Evans would be good for Sunday once he practiced the prior two days, but it was nice to see that he passed protocol on Thursday. Evans is our No. 1 ranked receiver this week and should feast against the Bears’ horrendous secondary. Expect a million targets, receptions and touchdowns for the No. 1 PPR wide receiver.

Chip Kelly went on to say that the 49ers will decide on Carlos Hyde‘s  status on Saturday, but as of now he’s extremely questionable. If Hyde’s shoulder can’t hold up, then expect DuJuan Harris to get his second consecutive start against the tough Arizona Cardinals’ defense. Harris would be a very borderline FLEX streamer against the Arizona front seven.

The disaster that is the Redskins running back depth chart finally has some clarity. With Matt Jones coming off a knee injury and is fighting a mild case of fumblitis, Rob Kelley is the only guy to start in this backfield. Against the Vikings, Kelley borderline RB2, while Jones and Chris Thompson are worth stashing in PPR leagues.

Quick Hits:

  • Doug Martin “felt good” after Wednesday’s practice and should play Sunday. He might be on a pitch count though, which should leave you hesitant about deploying him as a RB2.
  • The NFL continues to investigate the Ezekiel Elliott domestic abuse situation. The charges were dropped months ago, but it is still something to keep an eye on. If you own Elliott, it would be smart to handcuff Alfred Morris in case of injury or a possible suspension.
  • There’s a good chance James Starks will return on Sunday, but the Green Bay coaching staff has been pretty high on Ty Montgomery, and rightfully so
  • Saints S Kenny Vaccaro is facing a four-game ban for “adderall.” Feel free to continue to stream against this dumpster fire of a defense.
  • Travis Benjamin (knee) tweaked his PCL last Sunday and is doubtful for Week 10
  • Antonio Gates (knee) and Hunter Henry (knee) were both limited at practice but should be ready for Sunday
  • Eagles OC wants Zach Ertz to be targeted more in the red zone. Oooooookay.
