The Cowboys will finally have their guy back as Dez Bryant should be suiting up for action in Week 8. With the team on fire right now boasting a 5-1 record, Dak Prescott will take all he can get to improve on his fantasy output. Bryant will easily slide back into his WR1 spot for Dallas.

Looks like we have another obnoxious LeSean McCoy week on our hands. We all know Rex’s obsession with the Patriots, so he’ll probably put his star running back out there to re-injure himself again. It’s tough because of all of the bye weeks this week, but we would suggest to sit McCoy, unless he has a full week of practice. F you, Rex.

The return of Jay Cutler is big news for Alshon Jeffery owners who have been very frustrated so far this season. Jeffery best produced when Cutler was under center, and now that Brian Hoyer is done for the year with a broken arm, Jeffery can hopefully turn his fantasy season around.

Jordan Reed is coming along from the concussion he suffered earlier. It’s a good sign that he’s cleared for practice, but it will be important to monitor for any potential setbacks because of his past history.

Matt Jones had two fumbles yesterday and saw his touches get eaten up by Chris Thompson. It looks like Jones is in serious trouble of seeing future touches also be decreased by Thompson or Rob Kelley for Washington. Jones’ grip on a RB2 spot is loosening very quickly.

It’s good to see Tyler Eifert back on the football field and great for fantasy owners who have held onto him for so long. Eifert was a red zone beast last year and provides another big target for the Bengals in the end zone. His increased role should hopefully lead to more production going forwards.

Quick Hits:

  • Ty Montgomery of the Packers has now been given the rare dual-position tag, in which he’s listed as a RB/WR
  • Geno Smith suffered a torn ACL yesterday, meaning it’s back to Ryan Fitzpatrick for the Jets. (for now)
  • Titans TE Delanie Walker is dealing with a bruised chest, which is only concerning because the Titans play on Thursday night (COLOR RUSH!)
  • Fantasy Owners still hate Rex Ryan for starting and playing LeSean McCoy yesterday instead of just using Mike Gillislee. Don’t worry Rex, Tom Brady will make you pay.
