Roto Street Journal League Sync: Privacy Policy
This policy covers the RSJ League Sync Chrome extension. It connects your ESPN fantasy football leagues to your Roto Street Journal (RSJ) account. For this data, this policy applies instead of the RSJ Website Privacy Policy.
What we collect
When you click Connect ESPN on an RSJ page, the extension reads two ESPN login cookies from your browser: espn_s2 and SWID. These are authentication information. The extension does not access any other cookies, your browsing history, the content of ESPN pages, or any other site.
How we use it
The extension passes these cookies to the RSJ page you are on. RSJ sends them over HTTPS to its servers and to ESPN to find your leagues. If you link a league to your RSJ account, RSJ stores them with that league and uses them only to read its rosters, standings and settings from ESPN. We do not use this data for advertising, marketing, or any other purpose.
Sharing
We do not sell this data. We send it only to ESPN, to request your league data, and it is stored with the service providers that host RSJ. We may also disclose it if required by law.
Retention and removal
We keep the cookies until you unlink the league. To delete them, unlink the league on your RSJ account page. You can also remove the extension from Chrome at any time. Signing out of ESPN may also end that login.
Limited Use
Data collected through this extension is used only to provide its single purpose, connecting your ESPN leagues to RSJ. It is not transferred for unrelated purposes or used to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page.
