Funny enough, it was the players Roto Street Journal did not highlight in its headline but did include in its Week 3 article that hit paydirt.
The Jets saw Geno Smith rip three touchdowns and no turnovers en route to 333 total yards (12 rushing). We also emphasized that Jake Ferguson is likely a low-end starter and would need a score to validate his play against the Ravens internationally. He did just that with a 3-23-1 stat line.
Quarterback and tight end matchups: the positions where people seem to take the most risk in fantasy football.
Sure, you have the studs that you roster with high draft capital. But what about injuries? Tough defenses against quarterbacks? Exploitable defenses for tight ends?
The quarterback position continues to take hit after hit and we’re here to point you in the right direction if you’re being forced to bench guys like Caleb Williams, Baker Mayfield and Jayden Daniels.
But how confident are you in Bo Nix against the 49ers? Jalen Hurts in a struggling offense against an improving Rams defense? Or Colston Loveland whose drop off into season two is looking like a 12 out of 10 on the panic scale?
Colston Loveland this season:

Week 2 – 3 Yards
Week 3 – 31 Yards (inches short of TD)

Suddenly, streaming a quarterback – or starting the guy you drafted to be your QB2 – begins to look intriguing.
So, who are our top fantasy football Week 4 QB & TE streamers? Let’s dive in.
Editor’s Note: The majority of point values are based on standard scoring leagues.
Fantasy Football Week 4 QB & TE Streamers
Jacoby Brissett, Arizona @ New York Giants
I don’t know a lot about what is going on with the Giants right now, but I do know for a fact that linebacker Brian Burns (knee) is out for the year. I’m not yet scared of rookie Arvell Reese, or Tremaine Edmunds for that matter, who will likely start at the position.
The likely inability of the Giants to pressure Jacoby Brissett could allow him to build off his best game of the season last week.
His 280 passing yards, 38 completions, 52 attempts and three total touchdowns were all season highs.
Jacoby Brissett is sitting on the Fantasy Streets at 4.5% rostered on ESPN.

Meanwhile, he just gave you 280 yards, 3 total TDs and has a friendly stretch coming up.
We already know he can give you these spike weeks.
Don’t wait until everybody needs a QB.
Act now. https://t.co/Gq5IJKybZH
Brissett also felt comfortable resurging Michael Wilson as WR No. 1 for the team, and still got production out of Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison Jr. Wilson and McBride combined for 28 targets.
Dak Prescott (two) and Matthew Stafford (four) each had multiple touchdowns against the Giants with Burns in the lineup. And, Cam Ward, who can’t hit the broad side of a barn, likely would have, too, if it weren’t for the weather. Ward has two touchdowns through three games, and one came last week.
Jacoby Brissett is QB 22 on The Wolf’s Week 4 rankings.
Bryce Young, Carolina vs Detroit
Bryce Young is pushing out of the ability to be used in this series with his near 1,000 yards through three weeks and eight total touchdowns.
However, he is still being started in just 58% of leagues (CBSSports), and is still in tier five for The Wolf.
Detroit has allowed the most fantasy points to quarterbacks through three weeks: Tyler Shough (34.3), Josh Allen (49.3) and Geno Smith (36.2).
Extremely high on Bryce Young this week.

I have him as a Top-5 QB.
Such a good spot at home vs the Lions in a game where the Panthers are missing their two starting corners.
This game is likely to get WILD.
Carolina’s defense is also dealing with a plethora of injuries already. This could force Carolina to play from behind and/or have its offense on the field often.
The emergence of veteran tight end Darren Waller in his first season with Carolina has helped the inconsistencies/injuries to both Tetairoa McMillan and Jalen Coker. If either is limited or misses time, Waller and running back Chuba Hubbard will help the Panthers in the passing game.
The Lions have allowed 5 TE1 performances through three weeks.

Next up…Darren Waller!
Editor’s Note: As of Friday morning, Jalen Coker (quad) is questionable after leaving Week 3 early.
Bryce Young is QB 14 on The Wolf’s Week 4 rankings.
Tucker Kraft, Green Bay @ Tampa Bay
If Green Bay ever needed a favorable matchup for a get-right game, Week 4 could not be a better time.
The Packers were just embarrassed on national tv against the Falcons, placed receiver Jordan Reed (neck) on injured reserve and are struggling to produce any kind of run game.
Tampa Bay rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels is making his first professional start behind a struggling offensive line.
Tucker Kraft should be the top red zone target, and he led the Packers in targets (eight) in Reed’s first missed game before the designation. With the flashes fantasy managers saw last season, Kraft is due. The game script should allow for a solid outing.
I don’t understand why people are scared to start Tucker Kraft.
— Andrew Cooper (@CoopAFiasco) October 1, 2026
🔸He’s not getting benched over 2 drops
🔸He got 8 targets
🔸He only blocked on 2 pass plays
🔸Jayden Reed is still out
🔸Matchup is good
Seriously, what is the concern?
Tucker Kraft is TE 10 on The Wolf’s Week 4 rankings.
Brenton Strange, Jacksonville @ Cincinnati
Cincinnati’s defense is much improved from last season to the first three games of 2026.
However, its consistent weak spot seems to be tight ends.
While the Bengals have not allowed a tight end touchdown, they’re allowing chunk yards per game to the position.
6. Brenton Strange TE, JAX
— Ryan Linkletter (@blitzlink_) September 29, 2026
Brutal start to the year with 7 catches and a 9.6% target share
Gets Cincinnati though in Week 4, who has struggled against TEs
This isn't a season-long breakout bet, Strange is a matchup-based TE streamer against Cincinnati. pic.twitter.com/uyl3d04hOu
Dalton Schultz had 12 catches (14 targets) for 140 yards and both Pittsburgh tight ends were three yards short of 100 last week.
Brenton Strange is another touchdown-dependent starter (like Ferguson last week), but when he was in this position in Week 1, he scored against Cleveland.
A lot of other names are headlining in Jacksonville, but the hidden statistics for Bengals against tight ends are too much to ignore.
Brenton Strange is TE 26 on The Wolf’s Week 4 rankings.
