As a quick overview, these 2026 NFL Playoffs Fantasy Football rankings are driven by both individual talent, and more importantly, potential games played. In most formats, you’ll score points for as many games as your players play.

Strategy Side Note 1: In Underdog Bestball, points are NOT cumulative, as high-scorers will advance through Four Rounds. Thus, you need a balance of longevity and single-week explosiveness. In this format, Broncos and Seahawks become tricky because of their bye weeks, and you must stack some late-round guys with huge game upside (i.e. Luther Burden & Colston Loveland, DK Metcalf, Christian Watson, Brian Thomas to give yourself a shot at advancing to Round 2.

Strategy Side Note 2: Once drafting, these rankings should be very fluid, and adjust immediately when you lock up your Round 1 & 2 “anchors.” You must have a strong awareness of playoff brackets, avoiding current or soon-to-be opponents while stacking up the best players on 2-3 total teams.

If I draft Christian McCaffrey in Round 1 then I should immediately cross off the Eagles— their Round 1 opponent. I’d also be hesitant to draft many Seahawks, their likely Divisional Round Opponent if they advance (1 seed vs. 6 seed due to re-seeding). Meanwhile, I’d elevate other 49ers like George Kittle, Jauan Jennings, Brock Purdy and Ricky Pearsall in hopes of the 49ers running all the way to the Super Bowl.

Most often, you should load up on one AFC and one NFC team, ideally the teams you predict to make the Super Bowl (although draft flow / ADP won’t always allow you to land your top choices). Another viable strategy is loading up on players from 3-4 teams who you expect to meet in a Conference Championship (i.e. Four Bills, Three 49ers, Three Rams).

Since I expect a Bills vs. 49ers Super Bowl, you’ll see players from those teams ranked high here. The possibility of FOUR total games for Josh Allen and the Bills, versus just 3 for the Broncos or Seahawks, also factors in. I also sneaky love the Patriots, Rams, and Texans to go on major runs. The 2026 NFL Playoffs are WIDE OPEN.

Here is my 2026 NFL Playoff Bracket to showcase my predictions that influence these rankings:

Note: 1 These rankings assume a Best Ball format, and I elevate cornerstone “QBs” in the rankings.

Note 2: Many formats, including Underdog, forego TE and create a WR/TE combo position. The Overall rankings reflect this and do not account for TE scarcity where especially George Kittle, Mark Andrews, and Sam LaPorta would be significantly upgraded. On DraftKings Best Ball, a TE is required)
