2025 Week 10 Fantasy Football Players to Trade For, Trade Away: Zay Flowers, Parker Washington, Brashard Smith

Is it time for Brashard Smith to take over in Kansas City?!

Week 10 saw Jaxson Dart turbo-launch the Giants to a huge lead. We all know how the story goes.

Brian Daboll got the axe after the Giants blew, yet another huge lead late.

Russell Wilson was quickly benched after finishing the game for Dart, who left with a concussion. Now it’s Jameis Winston time!

Garrett Wilson goosed fantasy managers and found himself injured, looking at a three-to-four-week absence.

TreVeyon Henderson finally exploded and capitalized on his promise. Is it RJ Harvey time?

Oh, and Jayden Daniels and Joe Burrow may be back for fantasy managers sooner than expected?

For many, this could be the last week to complete fantasy trades. With so many rosters being jostled around like a toddler in a ball pit, the question arises…?

Which players should you try to target? Which should you try to capitalize on for a profit and strengthen your team in the long run?

Through a combination of opportunity-based expected fantasy points (xFP), usage, and market analysis, we hope to guide when and why players should be bought and sold to maximize value while helping with roster construction.

Let’s go!

Week 10 Fantasy Football Players to Trade For, Trade Away:

Players to Buy Low/Trade For

Brashard Smith, Kansas City Chiefs

Read the Kansas City tea leaves.

Isiah Pacheco isn’t getting the job done when healthy. Kareem Hunt is performing about as well as you could hope, given his age.

Smith could be in line to inherit a big workload after word came out that the Chiefs offered a fourth-round pick for Breece Hall.

With what Pacheco won’t practice again on Wednesday, Smith could capitalize and force his way on the field.

Fantasy Points data highlights how much of a dynamo Smith could be if given a bigger workload in the offense, leading all RBs in yards per route run.

We’re just a few weeks removed from Smith putting 80 yards from scrimmage against the Raiders.

With Clyde Edwards-Helaire continuing to be a forgettable fantasy asset (2 rushes for 5 yards), it could be Smith season, and he can be had for pennies on the dollar.

Zay Flowers

Since being christened the chosen one after an explosive week one, Zay Flowers has not eclipsed the century mark in a game.

It’s not entirely his fault. Lamar Jackson was out from week 5 through week 8.

But he hasn’t exactly lit the world on fire since Jackson returned in week 9.

Despite two favorable matchups in back-to-back weeks, Flowers has failed to finish in the top 24 among WRs.

After a tough matchup in week 11 against the Browns, Flowers’ schedule opens up wide.

It’s worth noting that Flowers scored nearly 15 fantasy points in his week 2 tilt against the Browns defense.

With matchups against the Jets, Bengals (cha ching!), and the Steelers before playing the Bengals again (bling bling!) ahead, Flowers is in a great position to finish the season strong ahead of fantasy championships.

Flowers averages just over 14 fantasy points per game with Jackson in the lineup (+1.2 FPOE). Buy him ahead of the Browns game and enjoy the ride!

Other trade targets: Luther Burden (Bears), Alvin Kamara (Saints), Kyle Pitts (Falcons)

Players to Sell High/Trade Away

Parker Washington, Jaguars

The Parker pack is salivating after back-to-back high-scoring outings.

His trade value keeps growing after scoring at least 17 points in consecutive weeks.

After Brian Thomas Jr. and Travis Hunter went down with injury, the Jaguars’ offense has largely run through Travis Etienne and Washington.

Over his last three games, he’s pacing for nearly 9 fantasy points per game and 4 targets per game more than the other six weeks of the season.

Across that same span, Washington’s seen usage worth:

  • 22.9 xFP (-12.7 FPOE)
  • 16.5 xFP (+0.5 FPOE)
  • 14.5 xFP (+3.4 FPOE)

With Thomas’ return looming and Jakobi Meyers being more implemented into the offense, look for Washington to return closer to his previous usage.

He should be included as a package to upgrade at the WR position if possible.

With news that Hunter is done for the season, Washington could still hold low-end flex appeal.

Deebo Samuel, Commanders

Samuel was the key to the Commanders offense in week 10.

He saw a healthy 23% target share and he was heavily utilized in the red zone.

So why is he a sell-high? That 23% target share I mentioned earlier? It sounds great right?!

Well that came on the back of just five targets. He saw only six opportunities in the game and finished with only four catches for 29 yards.

Had he not scored a TD fantasy owners would have been ticked off. He’s not getting the rushing work (one or fewer rush attempts in seven of his nine games).

His usage suggests he should be a fine flex play (13.4 xFP/g), but the low volume makes him a TD-reliant option.

Other players to trade away: Xavier Worthy (Chiefs), Juwan Johnson (Saints), Kimani Vidal (Chargers)
