It’s week 10. The gloves are off. There are just five weeks left until the fantasy football playoffs start for most leagues.
Strategy shifts less to stashes and more to handcuffs and playoff securing assets to give you an edge each week.
The injury reaper continues to sharpen his scythe and cut up NFL rosters. Did he miss the memo that Halloween was over and he needs to go into hibernation?
We’re all business here now.

I am working to blend perceived and literal values for players that are likely to shift one way or the other very soon.
Which players should you try to target? Which should you try to capitalize on for a profit and strengthen your team in the long run?
Through a combination of opportunity-based expected fantasy points (xFP), usage, and market analysis, we hope to guide when and why players should be bought and sold to maximize value while helping with roster construction.
Let’s go!
Week 10 Fantasy Football Players to Trade For, Trade Away:
Players to Buy Low/Trade For
JAYDEN REED, WR GREEN BAY PACKERS
The fantasy reaper claimed Tucker Kraft for the season, leaving a valuable chunk of the aerial pie in the intermediate levels and up the seams.
Everyone has their eyes on Romeo Doubs, who could receive a big bump in week 10 targets. Reed isn’t quite ready to return to the field just yet.
With the injuries to Tucker Kraft, Dontayvion Wicks, and Matthew Golden-

Jayden Reed becomes VERY interesting in his possible return that should be some time in November pic.twitter.com/CAKI35fvhp
Note, do NOT do this if you have your IR spot occupied. Venture elsewhere.
Word is Reed’s foot injury has completely healed, and he’s on the brink of returning from his collarbone injury.
PackersWire suggests that Reed could return by week 13 to week 14.

The Packers’ leading receiver in back-to-back seasons could be ripe for the picking as a cheap throw-in.
I know I just said above that it’s not time for stashes, but if you’re already in a strong position to claim your playoff slot, Reed can provide that added bump to chisel your name on your league trophy.
RASHID SHAHEED, WR SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
This is a picture perfect pairing.
Yes, it’s time to admit it. Sam Darnold is good. He’s really good. He was a top pick in his draft for a reason, and he had been held back by poppycock coaching regimes.
Darnold ranks first in completions and completion percentage on passes 20+ yards downfield.
Sam Darnold has a 99.9 passing grade on passes 20+ yards downfield, ranks 1st in completions (20), 1st in comp % (71.4%)

Shaheed and Jaxon Smith-Njigba provide the Seattle Rocket Launcher with a double whammy of deep field pass catchers.
With Klint Kubiak in 2024, Shaheed blew the doors off the fantasy gates before a knee injury ended his season.

— Hayden Winks (@HaydenWinks) November 4, 2025
In six games before his meniscus injury, Shaheed caught 20 balls for 349 yards and a trio of touchdowns.
His downfield prowess has continued into 2025, and Darnold expects to further unlock Shaheed (11.4 air yards per target).
Week winning upside is within his range of outcomes every week!

Players to Sell High/Trade Away
DEEBO SAMUEL, WR WASHINGTON COMMANDERS
The Commanders are toast this season. Without a miraculous Marcus Mariota-driven run, there’s no reason for them to bring Jayden Daniels back from his grotesque dislocation injury.
To add insult to injury, Samuel’s fantasy output drops nearly 20% against man vs. zone coverage.
Without Daniels leading the offense, that number is going to grow; let’s call a spade a spade.

Fantasy Points schedule tool shows that Samuel has a string of man-heavy matchups, even though a couple of matchups could still be enticing.
He could still receive enough volume to sustain flex appeal with a TD spike with Terry McLaurin out… again.
Still, that narrative creates a unique and fruitful sell-high opportunity I recommend taking!
KYREN WILLIAMS, RB LA RAMS
Before the masses come out with vitriol and claims of “this guy’s an idiot!” Save all of that for the end please and thank you!
Kyren has been a solid fantasy running back and is fresh off a 100+ yard and a TD game.
Still, his fantasy output has fallen each season since exploding as a second-year back with the Rams.
- 2023: 17.8 ppg
- 2024: 14 ppg
- 2025: 12.5 ppg
In 2023 and 2024, he scored at least 15 touchdowns each season, but is pacing for around 11 in 2025, due largely to Stafford leading the league in passing TDs so far.
Percentage of offensive touches in the red zone in games started:
— Jacob Gibbs (@jagibbs_23) November 5, 2025
63% – Christian McCaffrey
57% – Ashton Jeanty
52% – Jonathan Taylor
49% – Javonte Williams
48% – Quinshon Judkins
47% – Josh Jacobs
44% – Jahmyr Gibbs
43% – Derrick Henry
43% – Bijan Robinson
43% – Cam Skattebo…
The addition of Davante Adams is eating into his TD share and capping his fantasy upside.
Now, enter Blake Corum to the mix.
Blake Corum is at his best when the Rams are able to get him running outside.

His speed is evident. Good blocking downfield by Parkinson and Whittington.
Among RBs with 50+ attempts, Corum ranks 16th in explosive run rate. Also 11th in missed tackles forced per attempt. pic.twitter.com/PPPRI8XX3o
Kyren’s snap share has fallen from 87% in 2024 to 74% in 2025.
Corum, meanwhile, has seen 13 opportunities in each of his last two games, up from his six opportunity average his previous six games.
In Kyren’s first 100-yard game since week 15 of last season, around half of his rushing yards came in the fourth quarter. The Rams appear to be leaning on Stafford while the game is competitive, capping Kyren’s weekly upside.
Kyren Williams had his first 100 yard game in the regular season since Week 15 last year.

Rams ran the ball nearly 40 times. He had a class Kyren "solid" game. Nice job creating here behind the LOS to end it. Higbee clears the way. pic.twitter.com/lx5BGn8zRw
If he can be used in a package deal to upgrade at the position, do it without fear.
Other Players to Trade Away: DJ Moore, Tyrone Tracy, Chase Brown
