Updated Week 8 Fantasy Football Rankings and Tiers (2025)

The Wolf's 2025 Week 8 Fantasy Football Rankings and Tiers are here!

Updated Week 8 Fantasy Football Rankings 10/26

Sunday 10/26 x 2

Drake London is officially OUT. Darnell Mooney rises up to my Quality WR2 tier at WR23 given his rapport with Kirk Cousins. Kyle Pitts is now my TE9 as well. Cousins himself loses some appeal, although the matchup is still ripe. Still, I’d prefer a Marcus Mariota.

David Njoku is IN. This hurts Harold Fannin‘s Week 8 Outlook, especially with so many other promising streaming options (Mason Taylor, Cade Otton, Dalton Schultz).

Sunday 10/26

-With Kirk Cousins IN and Drake London QUESTIONABLE, Darnell Mooney is quickly rising up my Week 8 Fantasy Football WR Rankings. If London does get ruled out, Mooney will find himself in my Top-25 WRs. His rapport with Kirk Cousins was rock solid and the matchup vs. MIA is JUICY.

Breece Hall and Mason Taylor will be IN for the Jets, and both are highly viable in the juiciest of matchups, even with Fields under center.

D’Andre Swift is expected to be IN vs. the Ravens, which is an absolute smash spot for RBs. Swift is an easy Top-12 RB this week, especially with game flow expected to be even better with Lamar out on the other side.

Saturday, 10/25 x 2

-Lamar Jackson is surprisingly OUT. Tyler Huntley will start and should be an upgrade over Cooper Rush, but that’s not a high bar to clear. Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews take a hit. Meanwhile, Derrick Henry is a stock neutral — more work is likely, but his TD opportunities take a big hit sans Lamar.

Tyrod Taylor is OUT, forcing Justin Fields into another start. The Bengals Run Defense is SO BAD that Fields actually is my QB14 this week. It does hurt weaponry like Mason Taylor though. Additionally, Josh Reynolds is now OUT, which means someone needs to catch the rock. Arian Smith is the next logical step-in, but no one is overly attractive outside the deepest of leagues.

Drake London is now QUESTIONABLE. Be sure to monitor this ahead of kickoff.

Saturday, 10/25

-AJ Brown is OUT for Week 8. Fresh off a 9-183-1TD eruption, Devonta Smith is now a Top-8 WR vs. a generous NYG Pass Defense, while Dallas Goedert is my TE4

Ricky Pearsall & Brock Purdy are OUT, as expected. Kendrick Bourne flopped last week but is still a strong WR3 this week with his boy Mac Jones under center.

Nico Collins and Christian Kirk are both OUT in Week 8. This offense is so inept that I worry about playing any one, but last week Dalton Schultz became a target (10 targets, 9 rec, 98 yards) and he could be the main vein again. He is my TE12 now.

Cole Kmet is OUT and it could be a multiweek injury. The Bears will have no choice but to unleash No.10 overall pick Coleston Loveland, and I think he’s a phenomenal bench stash wherever you have space, plus a decent-enough stream if you’re desperate.

Michael Penix is likely OUT in this one. I don’t consider it much of a downgrade with Kirk Cousins now under center, and I expect him to look far better now 2 years removed from an Achilles. Against MIA, Cousins is actually sneakily viable this week in 2 QB / SuperFlex leagues.

Thursday, 10/23

-Aaron Jones is LIKELY TO PLAY. This hurts Jordan Mason a decent bit, but he’s still my RB20 against a Chargers team bleeding points and TDs to RBs, especially the past 3 weeks.

– Justin Fields is likely to be benched for Tyrod Taylor. Fields has been removed, Taylor has been added, and receiving weapons are boosted a bit for a far more accurate passer in Taylor.

Kyle Shanahan called Brock Purdy “a reach” to play this week, meaning Mac Jones should be under center.

Bryce Young is trending towards OUT, meaning Andy Dalton will be under center. This is probably an upgrade for the pass catchers.

Mike Evans‘ injury is now accounted for. Emeka Egbuka and Tez Johnson get solid bumps, and Cade Otton remains in the lineup.

Nico Collins‘ concussion is now accounted for. It’s an ugly situation, but Jayden Higgins, Jaylin Noel, and Xavier Hutchinson might be moderately playable. CJ Stroud is unusable.

Darren Waller is week-to-week, and has been removed.

Week 8 Fantasy Football Byes: Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Rams, and Seattle Seahawks.
