Dalton Kincaid is building serious chemistry with Josh Allen.

Every day, the RSJ staff is tracking fantasy football news and highlights from around the league, serving as your lead blockers to fantasy greatness. From viral highlights to familiar coach-speak narratives to season-altering injuries, we’ve got you covered.

Here are some standout fantasy news and notes from training camps around the NFL on August 9.

Dalton Kincaid: Has “complete” trust from QB Josh Allen

Almost every day, Kincaid is making himself available through excellent route running and movement skills for his size, and then capitalizing with effortless receptions while turning up field looking for more. Allen has shown complete trust in Kincaid when on the field together. Kincaid has done everything in his power this camp to earn plenty of playing time to begin the season, and should this momentum continue, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he was at or near the lead in offensive snaps relative to slot receivers

Joe Buscaglia – The Athletic

One of the more polarizing rookies in this class, TE Dalton Kincaid is working his way up the Bills’ receiving tree. The team firmly has Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis as options one and two, but Kincaid has a different skill-set and is showing he can be the third option for this high powered offense. Buffalo needed a skilled receiver who can operate over the middle and open the field for Josh Allen and Kincaid could ascend this offense to the next level.

Rashod Bateman: Returns from PUP list, first action at practice

Oft-injured Ravens WR Rashod Bateman finally returned to practice today hoping to make up some ground. Bateman has plenty of talent to capitalize on in this Ravens offense that’s been looking for any receiver production they can get their hands on.

Bateman has shown in flashes, but he cannot stay on the field consistently. It’s a big year for Bateman as Baltimore drafted Zay Flowers and signed Odell Beckham Jr in the offseason, so the competition is ramping up. It is nice to see the confidence Lamar Jackson has in his young receiver.

The Wolf is a bit low on Bateman than the ECR, ranking him WR53 (-5 vs ECR) on his updated 2023 Fantasy Rankings.
