Kenyan Drake Erupts for 137 Yards and 4 TDs in Epic Week 15 Fantasy Performance

If you had the cajones to play Kenyan Drake in your semifinals... congratulations on the title game berth.

It’s been a tough 2019 for Kenyan Drake, with 11 straight losses between Miami and Arizona this season. But on Sunday, he appeared fed up with all that, as he went off against Cleveland for 137 yards and an insane 4 touchdowns on just 22 carries. Drake looked solid early and the Cardinals continued to feed him on the ground, and the result was one of the most prolific performances we’ve seen from a running back in 2019. He not only secured a win for Arizona, but likely for any fantasy owner who was ballsy/desperate enough to start him in their semifinal matchup.

Drake had just one 12-plus point performance in 2019 heading into Week 15 — his first game in Arizona, when he shocked the world with 162 total yards and a TD, and officially sent David Johnson to the bench. He’d struggled to replicate this success in the weeks since, but Sunday against Cleveland saw him return to his former glory at the perfect time for fantasy owners.

Luckily for those who have Drake on their roster, next week brings Seattle to town, who boasts a pretty league-average run defense. It should be factored in that Seattle is still fighting for a division title ,while Arizona has virtually nothing to play for at this point, but Drake will still serve as a low-end RB1/high-end RB2 for fantasy championship weekend.
